Which one would that be? The Pentium Pro? The recent 3rd gen Core architecture Ivy Bridge?

Whatever beast it might be, Microsoft puts out beastier operating systems every time. So unless you want to run Windows 95 for ever on your Pentium Pro, you might want to get with the new technology :)
Honda Civic 10th gen How far can we upgrade before it's too much? 20160520_102858
Currently running skylake XD tho a 3rd gen is great for overclocking, that's about it.

There's a person on this website saying that you don't buy a civic to mod it....

Yet Civics are one of the most mod friendly cars on the planet.

There's a person on this website saying that you don't buy a civic if you want a fast car.

Yet modified civics are some of the fastest cars out on the road.

Anyway, I'd imagine with current mods my Civic is somewhere around 200hp. Another 30-40hp and I'd be content to keep it where it's at. The more power you add, the more you'll need to spend on that powers support structure and upkeep. I'm guessing 230-250 will be the magic number. Could you get it to 300? Dunno, but let us know what it's like if you do.

Haha sorry, my bad. And 300hp is my goal! I'm currently researching to see if a water/methinol injection system would work with our cars. I'd be going with a cooler system. So injector spraying after the intercooler, but as close as possible to it.

When you blow the engine, you've gone too far.

I'm all for modding your car out and making it your own. My biggest pet peeve is the kids who throw an exhaust on and automatically think they're Mario Andretti and forget stop signs mean STOP.

Welcome to the Internet lol.

In regards to the limit of the Civic, nobody knows. The limit of the CVT in the WRX which is considered to be a HIGH TORQUE CVT is 500nm or 368 ft lbs. Take that for what you will.

Actually, his post is ON topic. This is a thread about mods right?
It's really just about mod potential, which mods can we really add before we're going too far with the CVT and how much HP can we manage to sustain. It's not about how people act.

No, it's about opinions of how far is too far. That guy thought that goofy people making their car louder and then thinking they were racers was too far. Hence, it fits here.
