Our friends at Galpin Auto Sports shared with us details and photos of their custom 2016 Honda Civic sedan build that is currently being displayed in the Galpin Hall of Customs showroom at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.

This new 2016 Civic LX sedan has received a handful of customizations including:
  • Avery SW900 Supreme Gloss Lime Green vinyl wrap (original paint was Crystal Black Pearl)
  • Chrome parts and badges painted black
  • Factory accessory Decklid Spoiler in black
  • 19-inch TSW Bathurst wheels with 235/35-19 tires (no spacers needed)
  • Springs from a 2012 Si

Here are in-build photos of this Galpin Civic along with the finished product:

Not bad. The black trim and front grill bar look really good. If only the wrap was a different color. Would have been cool in a gloss blue or red.

They should've took some pics with the wheels while it was black just for the hell of it

First time we are seeing the deck lid spoiler? I like it. Wish it was body colored so we could get a better look.

Great seeing a modified one so soon after the release. I can't wait until next year's SEMA to see what all the tuners and aftermarket builders are going to do with this platform. By then we should see some Si's hopefully.

That looks fantastic! Especially the blacked out chrome grille... the look of the concept car can be achieved on the production Civic and it looks great even without the LED lights. I like the color too. And the wheels also look real good. Nice job.

That looks like a rice job.. Terrible. Seriously I cant stand when I see stuff like this. I guess it's because I always buy Civic Si trim levels. Changing the color is cool but putting on tasteless rims and removing our proud H logo is disappointing mostly.

It's just a wrap for a few years, protects the factory paint and gives your car a different look, it can be any color you want and can be switched whenever you feel like it...oh it's also way cheaper to wrap than paint

Honestly, the black paint over the H emblem looks terrible. Should have just plasti-dipped all the chrome or left the logo chrome. And that green, were they trying to match the concept car? It' looks way to light.

Not to impressed.

I mostly like this. Besides the color I don't think this is riced out. I'm sure we'll see riced out builds to come (SEMA next year). The wheels look good and less aftermarket looking than the accessory wheels they put on the coupe. And they actually used factory springs for the lowering and factory deck lid spoiler. Using OEM parts is always a plus for me.

Not a fan of the vinyl wrap but the wheels look good. I give them credit for Macgyver'ing the suspension.

I'm not really seeing how this is riced out. In fact the only thing rice about it is the color but it seems they were just trying to emulate the concept's color. The 19" Bathurst wheels are not anything crazy, pretty basic 10 spoke brushed nickel wheels, slightly lowered, blacked out chrome.

If it were riding on some 21" with a ridiculous amount of camber and drop, with a giant spoiler I could understand, but it's even got a factory spoiler and everything else is stock.

I mean I would've gone with different wheels but it actually looks pretty good in the showroom pics. If/when I get mine, I'll be looking to black out some parts also. I think the black doorhandles are a nice touch.

Thanks for blacking out the chrome. I might have left the emblem alone.
