I am waiting for my Weathertech mats. In the meantime since day one I have had the regular mats that came with the car and I added on top some standard rubbermats I have used with previous cars that are pretty good at catching snow, water, etc.
I was vacuuming my Civic today and when I go to the front passenger side and remove the rubber mats I notice the regular mat was very wet; when I remove it, the car carpet itself was even damper all around the edge closer to the door.
I then opened up the frame number hatch and pulled my hand in between the carpet and the car frame itself and the metal was completely wet.
Note that very rarely I have had a passenger in the 2 months I have owned the car.
Anyone else had this problem?
I am headed to the dealer tomorrow so they can check as water is somehow seeping in from underneath the car.
