Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same annoying problem that I'm currently facing. My heater/AC makes a whistling noise when the selector is in feet mode. I can make it go away by selecting defrost/feet and then back to feet again. It's a temp fix but I want this precipice gone at all costs. Sorry.... at Honda's cost.

Brother...you have no idea at the monstrocity of the task it will be just to get to the defective part, but test it and reassemble it. It will be hard to pin point exactly which part is defective so I am going to request to replace all related components to minimize the "hit & miss" approach that Honda is accustom too. I am very worried cause usually when that many parts and screws are going to be flying everywhere, there is usually collateral damage (rattle and/or squeak) that comes with it (final repair)

Whistling noise coming from air conditioner could be due to slipping compressor belt. Get the belt checked. There is a probability that something might have gone to your ac like dust, dirt. If you are unable to stop the noise then call a New Jersey HVAC technician for repair.

Belts never whistle. Never.

Does it only do it when the fan is blowing on high? Also, is it doing it when your car is on both recirculating and outside air?

Not whistling but definitely some sort of high-pitched whirring. It's faint but audible enough to annoy me. But then I get easily annoyed lol. I'm hoping it goes away eventually like a lot of these types of things do.
