So I am having some major issues with the windshield wipers streaking.

I have clayed the windows and they feel silky smooth, but my wipers continue to leave streak marks. I have also applied rain-x and had the dealer replace the wiper blade rubbers.

Anyone else having issues with the streaking? There should be no streaking at all on a new car with a pit-free windshield right?

First thing I did to my car was get aftermarket wipers. I was shocked at how bad the stock ones were.

You can try rubbing alcohol on the stock blades themselves. Sometimes they are treated or still have residue from manufacturing on them. You could also try name brand fluid and not the 'blue stuff'.

I haven't put any product on my windshield, and my stock wiper blades leave my windshield streak free. I even have a repaired pea size rock chip that I can still easily see and feel, but even in that area, there is no streak. My 2016 Civic EX Sedan was purchased 01/16 and was manufactured 10/15.

What brand of wipers did you get?

Thanks...the stock wiper blades seem to clean fine on my car but I might check those out when it's time to replace.

Replaced mine with Bosch insights the second day of having the car, stock ones were streaking and chattering like crazy.

The stock blades are great on mine, too. It shocks me about how other owners' experiences differ.

My assumption is no factories can produce 100% defect-free products.

So, if people bother, go back to the dealer and get free replacement.

Yes, that makes sense.

I wonder if my arm is failing, it looks like I have webbing on the top left hand corner of my windshield. Same exact spot every time, before and after I used clay and rain-x.
