I don't think that this is a test mule we're looking at and that this is the production Si.

I hope they have a Si "Touring" trim with the LEDs maybe some leather although I don't want leather.

It would be really nice if they could do a combination of the sport seats in this coupe with different colors like the ivory or grey and have a leather sport seat option on an Si touring model or something similar. These cloth seats are great style-wise but for what looks like an Si "EX-T" trim and im sure there will be one more above this that adds in the LED headlights and navigation like that latter; this model seems fairly equipped already with the big screen and heated seats. But hopefully these sport seats will hopefully trickle down into the Si sedan hopefully

On a random side note, from weird 3/4 angles with the tape it looks weirdly similar to a 2016 Accord coupe with the wheels this has on.

For an Si, it looks quite boring, actually. Really barely any different from the coupe (or sedan for that matter). The rims are OK but honestly I don't think they're a major upgrade from the Touring sedan's rims. 18" is a better wheel size for the car though, I do like that.

I wonder if they'll be a special color for the Si? Maybe the EGP will be an Si color...I'm sure it will all come together when it debuts!:D

You might be right.. this is the first mule. But even if they offer LED headlights as additional option, then I have lost my respect for the Si model. They're suppose to have all the options that is offered from other trims PLUS more, such as upgraded stereo, suspension, tuned engine, etc.

Though, I'm gonna guess that they're going to the same route as the GTR, good engine, suspension, and wheels but other than, everything else is BASIC.
Where have you seen anything about the Si coming with leather seating, power seats, etc.? The Si is performance based with lots of extras (like moonroof), but not everything (like the Touring). It appears that the CTR does not have a moonroof and that could be a deal-breaker for me.

Exactly what I expected it to look like. I expect we'll see far less radical "racer" styling on Si going forward. Maybe relegated to the coupe but honestly, the subdued design is reminiscent of the 2012 coupe, which looked great from the side, and horrifically bland from every other angle.

It makes me wonder if we'll see an Si sedan, honestly.

It looks like the little lights that turn from white to green according to fuel usage can be red in the Si.

I've been hearing rumblings in this area as well. Reasons ranging from cost to efficiency.

Word is they are still testing both.
It's still my greatest fear. But I can't believe they would have an Si this close to production and still be mulling over 2 different engines. I mean, you can even see the Si badge with tape over it on the rear! As others have said, this is no mule.

Yet I just can't believe we STILL don't know what's under the hood. Why the hell is Honda keeping this such a secret? It's freaking ridiculous. What's the point?? Which leads me to wonder...maybe they haven't yet decided on an engine. UGH.

Maybe they want to blow everyone's mind with how much HP it will have!!!;):p..Mainly...they want some wow factor when it's released... I mean we know it will be the coupe tweaked, so needs some mystique about it..IMO:D

I mean, historically the only extra bits the Si has ever had over the base coupe visually was different wheels, some interior tweaks (mostly the addition of red stitching and Si embroidery) a larger spoiler and tweaks to the exhaust and front grill. This looks to share the completely revised bumper of the upcoming hatchback, the gloss black grill, has holes where the most likely larger spoiler would go. So in terms of what honda has done every time with the Si to differentiate the looks, this car has all those cues, there's not a ton more they could do to it to differentiate it from the base coupes without completely changing major parts of the car.

Personally, i think the gray color is what makes it look a bit bland, and the fact it's missing the aggressive spoiler it'll most likely have on it. An Si needs a more exciting color than gray.

That aside, i love those wheels, and might buy a pair for my future EXT (if they don't offer an auto option this time around). I also wonder what the "Si Exclusive" color will be this time... i figured energy green would be it, but then the base coupes got that color... maybe a new orange color?
