Looks good. What material did you use for the spacer?
I just cut some square pieces out of a horn package I had in the garage. It's just thin plastic. It'll work though. I've done this on a previous car. It's hidden anyway. The only other way would have been to either remove the whole door or fender to be able to get to the hinge adjust bolts. Screw that.

I'm bumping this thread because I've seen some Coupe pics where the passenger door is slightly misaligned. Quick fix for some of you guys. Just trying to help.

My passenger door was slightly misaligned. In the pictures you can see the before and after pics of what I did. All I did was very thinly space the top hinge from the door. And before anybody says I should have taken it back to the dealer, I didn't feel like spending all day while their techs figured out how to do what I did it 20 minutes for no money. And this will work perfectly fine. It'll last, it was easy, and my car didn't have to be partially torn apart.

i was looking in the service manual to find the official adjustment procedure and i have found, what looks like, an easy way to adjust the gap. haven't tried it yet but will tomorrow.
