This argument goes both ways.Gavnzdad, I think the issue is someone should not have to use super glue on their brand new car purchase. I haven't wasted any gas, just waiting on the resolution before I proceed.
Sure, you shouldn't really have to MacGyver something brand new -- but if you do, then isn't it far easier to just fix it yourself than spend all that time trying to get the dealer to do what will likely be exactly the same thing??
I mean, if you're retired and spend your days sitting at home (which I would love to do btw, not meant to be offensive) then by all means, but I'd much rather do it myself and quickly get it over with than spend hours trying to fight some man at the dealership.
