I got a long Virus break so swapped my almost new PS4S on my car last week... Got lazy afterward and didnt park the car in driveway, partly also want to show my summer wheels.
Same day someone came over at 1:30AM slashed all 4 tires.
Long story short. Insurance is going to reimburse money to me.
I am going to either PS4S or CUP 2, my wheel is OZ ultraleggra 20x8.5...
what is the best size for performance.
PS4S comes in 245/30R20, 255/30R20
Cup 2 only comes in 245/30R20

anyone can chime in?

and anyone have any suggestion on tires same level as Cup 2. I wont consider any tires less than PS4S.
thank you

245/30R-20 will be more responsive to steering input on your 8.5-inch wide wheels over the 255.

Sorry to hear about the vandalism!
do you guys offer any UHP AS tires in OEM size or evenn 255/30/20?

Pilot Sport Cup 2 in OEM size are super cheap right now. $455 for a set of 4 from Priority Tire (including shipping) and you can usually find a 5% / $20 off coupon for that website.

I have 2 sets in my basement and one on the car. They are better than stock in every way.

Yo that yellow Type R! I saw one on the 401 and gave a thumps up lol! I wonder if that was you.

Had the same black top, mud flaps lol!

I would get the CUP2s in 245/30R20

You'll lose steering response going 255.

I am leaning toward 245 cup2 as well.but wouldnt wider tires help gripping the ground?
I cant put all the power down to the road on 1st and 2nd gear..
I am going to out a rmm soon

Perhaps, but the stock size Cup 2s are $455/set and are going to grip better than a harder compound, wider tire. Cup 2s provide more grip than stock tires, especially when the ambient temps/tire temps are warmer, but you're always going to struggle to put down power when going WOT in first gear without feathering the throttle a bit. It's 300hp/300 lb-ft going through front wheels.

Get the CUP2s in 245s and use Hondata Traction Control

Just a note, the CUP2s need to be at operating temp which is higher than the PS4s...so if it's not warm enough outside and you do a short drive, might not get the full benefits of the tire

You knew the exact time (1:30a)? That is SOME psychic ability.
