I am just speculating but most likely low interest financing, or loyalty program. I think they are already on 2020 Si but I would assume it will take some time for Type R to get that kind of deal. According to 2 2020 type R owners on this forum, they pretty much got the 2020 at the MSRP and these are just getting delivered.

FYI SoCal'ers, Riverside Honda has a Boost Blue in transit.

Thankfully here in Alberta (province in Canada) nobody charges over MSRP except for one I know in Edmonton.

Yup I believe so. But ways around it is installing unwanted/un needed accessories for lots .
I bought my 2017 for MSRP and ordered my 2020 at MSRP. If a dealer wants to install accessories I just walk away.

The dealer I went to charged $695 for Championship White but nothing for the other colours, is that normal?

Yah I believe that's normal. I think starting last year Honda started charging 500 for white paint.

Are you talking about the one in Edmonton? I emailed them about them and saw that price ignored them hahaha. There is a reason why it's still there. I usually buy my Honda's from okotoks Honda. If your interested I can ask them see what they have coming in.
