I'm planning on getting a ceramic coating for my car. Just ordered a pressure washer (still need to find a good soap to use), and would like to go the touchless drying route as well.

Anyone have any good recommendations? Thanks if so!

I use Mr. Pink from chemical guys, a gallon runs about $30. Amazing stuff in a foam cannon, foams well! They also sell a different variety/power of air blowers

How many washes does a gallon last you?

Been using Bosch wireless dryer for over a year. It is mobile and I can use anywhere.

Bosch GBL 18V-120 18V Cordless Mobile Blower Light Weight

I use an auto air dryer (“air cannon”) from Adam’s Polishes. I have had it for about four months, and I am impressed with how it has performed.

Here are a few features that I like about it:
1. Variable speed
2. Hose interlocking mechanism (twist lock)
3. Heated air
4. Premium caster wheels that can be locked, and allow the blower to move in any direction
5. Compact size
6. Long hose they constricts (shrinks) when no air is flowing. It allows for easy storage
7. Rubber hose tips to prevent scratching

Here are some pics of mine:

I purchased mine through Amazon. If you choose this route, then select the delivery option where Amazon packages it in a non-descript box because otherwise it will be delivered in the manufacturer’s box that can be eye candy for thieves.

Both Civic and Corvette were done by myself using:-
Optimum Tire and Protection Coating on Tires, exterior trims and wheel wells
Kamikaze ceramic products on body and wheels.

Equipment and chemical:-
Kranzle 1322 pressure pump.
Chemical Guys Snow Foam Auto wash-2oz each in MTM Foam Canon and contact wash bucket.
Brake Buster 1:5 ratio, using IK Foamer on wheels/tires.
Master Blaster blow dryer.

Two hours process for Corvette, slightly longer for Civic, other than contact wash, absolutely no touch and walk away after blow dry.

But..by the way, there is no best, that is only my process and everyone has their own unique style.

So...good luck and hope you enjoy the process on car maintenance.

I've had my eye on this for a while and think I may pull the trigger. After rinsing off the car, I like to take a regular garden hose with nothing on the end and run sheets of water on the car. When done correctly on clean paint, it'll carry a lot of the water drops on the paint along with it. A blower like this would be a great next step to dry off whatever is left and also for clearing out crevices. Spot dry with a nice microfiber and I think that's a solid, safe drying process that wouldn't break the bank.

Do it. i checked the price today, i bought it for $42. It's about $25 now. So it's a steal.

Look for CFM (cubic feet per minute) specs. There are several cheap (less than $100) blowers out there that do a better job then the boutique name brands. I got a $50 Toro blower at Home Depot. Works great.
Another tip is to use Formula 4 spray to prevent water spots and add shine. Check out the Youtube video on their site. https://superiorproducts.com/product/formula-4-spray-wax/
