Wait until you discover that the glass is just as cheap as the paint. Welcome.

Have to disagree. I've purchased cars since the 1970's and the 10th gen Civic's paint chips easier than any car I've owned. I've had the same job and travel the same roads for 30 years so it's a valid comparison.I think the paint is just fine. Scratches and chips just as any other automobile would for the same dollar. If you want a tri-coat, you will be in an entirely different price range.
Perhaps my “Cosmic Gray Pearl” is the exception”. I also had a 9th Gen Accord that was Metallic Gray for 7yrs and that was also fine IMO.Have to disagree. Hey the Cosmic Blue paint on my car looks amazing. But, the paint is really, really soft.
What is this Cosmic Gray Pearl you speak of? It's certainly not a 10th gen Civic paint color I've seen in North America.Perhaps my “Cosmic Gray Pearl” is the exception”. I also had a 9th Gen Accord that was Metallic Gray for 7yrs and that was also fine IMO.

I don't have any problems, but the more I think about it, the more I believe I will be getting the car repainted in the future with a much better, orange-peel-less and heavy clear coated shine. Time will tell.I feel like every time I drive my car and come back I get a new scratch. I had one not even 24 hours after I bought it a big chunk on paint missing by the door. I am glad the dealer cover it up but since then I got 2 other ones. Did Honda only put one coat of paint?
