It’s definitely stiffer vs Si’s. The Spring they used is different. You can even pull both of them to compare if you wanted

I did. I own both remember lol. I think people think that because it’s new. The spring is the same

Okay. We’ll never know than since Honda never released any documented evidence but sure it’s stiffer.

So I had some free time. I rechecked. It’s the same spring. Same thickness and same amount of coils. What people aren’t thinking about is the extra leverage you get with the si shifter. Since the type r is shorter, there’s less leverage. It’s like comparing a breaker bar to a 3/8ths ratchet.
