Just an FYI for the SoCal people. Buena Park Honda has a blue 2019 type R for MSRP and no ADM. They initially had dealer add-ons that added about $2k to the car but after arguing with them they removed the add-ons. I was speaking to Hazel from their sales team.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy anything from communist Crapafornia!

Good luck finding any buyer willing to walk into a dealership in the next 18 months. I hope some of the dealers around here that charge ADM go bye-bye at the end of the pandemic.

There were more than a few people at the dealership where I bought my SI from last Sat.

Bought my 2019 CW CTR for slightly above 34k.

there are a lot of incentives to sell these days especially with the ongoing pandemic, the upcoming 2020 model, and the fact that it’s still freezing cold in some parts of the country.

Brace for pain for SoCal dealerships for the next month as sales decline to zero. Locking down the whole town starting midnight tonight. Start calling your helpful Honda guys and ask for invoice and no more.

It truly is a shame that world changing events are the only thing that can get greedy folk to see the light. I bought mine in January and the dealership was sensible. I got mine at MSRP. They at least recognized that they had to make a sale. In the past week, I've been getting calls from dealerships still trying to sell the car at ADM. I mean.. are you friggin serious? They're either brain dead, greedy, or potentially both. Dealerships need to refrain from the whole.. "how much can I squeeze out of the customer" mentality.

With that said, I hope that ya'll are safe.

I don't believe dealers in ADM markets will sell at MSRP or below for the CTR. They have plenty of regular stock cars to discount. I'm assuming the CTR is limited supply for 2020 and 2021. E.g. 600 cars for USA distribution in phoenix yellow. I don't know how many dealers in the USA, but I would guess a dealer would be fortunate to get their hands on one in-stock. Collector's may buy two if it's a low number. I've only seen one person online accept delivery of a boost blue 2020 CTR. How about you?

Anybody know about the Honda loyalty program? This one dealership said if you or anyone in your household own a 2009 honda or newer your eligible for another 1k off the best price you get on a honda. I dont know if it was for this specific dealer or for all dealers though (East coast Honda).

Probably is the specific dealer thing and probably in the fine print will be a disclaimer * select vehicles only*.

I have asked many dealers in New England and most of the prices are not even closed to MSRP (one dealer quoted $39k for 2018).
I am assuming people getting MSRP from East Coast means excluding New England.

White Allen Honda, Dayton, OH
has a 2019 rally red listed with an online price of 34,613.
I'm from California, they quoted me a price of 34,900 for a CW.
For me personally, with shipping to California and TTL and tire protection and extended warranty (I think I am going to cancel), final price was about 40k.
Not necessarily a GREAT deal for a 2019, but I was getting impatient waiting for the 2020s, afraid of the crazy markups on 2020s and rumors of production being shut down (which is probably not the case, 2020s are being shipped out now)
Good luck

An online price means absolutely nothing. When I was shopping for my CTR, I saw several dealers show $45k crossed out, with "Internet Special Price" of MSRP. When I would call on the dealer, the asking price was never the "internet special price"

I'd put a grain of salt into any price online that has not verified by a sales rep

You've got to be an email warrior. Start emailing every dealer that you'd be willing to drive to or buy from that has the color you want. I called on about 20-30 dealers before I found mine for MSRP. You'll probably end up going outside of New England but maybe able to stay in the state

i agree, I mentioned that dealer because they "honored" the online listed price on their website without me even haggling them down to it.
