Well i'd love to upgrade my exhaust but no one cares about us non sport owners. I have an EX but no one will give us options. apparently me and countless others wanting to drop $1000 isn't good enough. There were literally 50 orders for an imported HKS exhaust that got cancelled, so even manufacturers saying the demand isn't there, is false, there's a minimum of $50k sitting on the table, and for most it doesn't require new R&D, just a modified existing design ya'll already created.

Yeah, you're totally right and I caught that after I posted it on my way out the door yesterday AM but I can't edit it. I'll update the initial post with that detail. Thanks dude.
No Worries - and don't mean to nitpick - i just had to think for a minute before i took the poll to make sure the HB was the intended selection. Wouldn't want someone to not take the test because they didn't think they saw their model listed!

I would love to upgrade my sport touring HB, or even my wifes EX HB, but I'm broke. Did a resonator delete and it was less than I hoped for.

EDIT: I can't justify 800$+ on a noise maker
I agree 100% with you. More companies need to sell their muffler attachment to the Civic as a stand alone product. I'm willing to pay 200 bucks for a nice muffler/ exhaust tips that can directly replace the OEM muffler/ HDMI exhaust

It's a Honda Civic that cost less than $30k and I bought my hatchback not as a performance car. To my own opinion, I don't see the point of spending around $1k on an exhaust. Car value will depreciate and mods usually not always a main factor to increase value of resale. Sure I can part it out and sell it locally but what is the chance of getting my money back if not losing up to 50% of MSRP on parts.

So for me there are two main points that stop me from getting an exhaust.

1. Minimal if any gains on an si

2. I run a catless downpipe and where as some exhausts sound great in product videos with stock downpipe, it may sound bad or have heavy drone with catless pipes.

As of now remark exhaust is the only full system I would possibly purchase since it’s only $650 and people have reported it’s very mature/tame sounding which possibly means it would sound just right with catless pipes.... but 650 for just sound and no extra power still keeps me from making the purchase

We just don't exist. Sucks we wanted a better ride quality as well as better hud. Instead of sacrificing all that for a center exhaust and hoping aftermarket would support.

The stock exhausts are excellent. Very few are going above a power level that requires a larger exhaust. Anyone want to hear a small liter engine rumble....LOL

Looking to purchase the AWE Touring exhaust in the future, just don't know when. Still figuring out my mod list and work situation but hopefully soon!

No aftermarket exhaust for me. The hb sport exhaust is a nice oem system with very good sound quality inside/outside the cabin and honda claims +6hp.

I would be interested in aftermarket tips for style points. Making my car look unique is more appealing to me than performance upgrades.

If you guys sold just your awesome “180 technology” mufflers with the three black tips attached that I could weld up to the end of the oem exhaust with a muffler delete that would be awesome, I’d be all over something like that.

Had my R for just about a year and have been wanting to get a system since before I even got the car. So glad that I waited for the AWE system. Can’t wait till it comes in!

I purchase my MagnaFlow exhaust for my FK7 since May 2018. At first, I want the GReddy exhaust because best bang-for-the-buck but MagnaFlow have that deep sound to it. In the front driver and passanger the noise level perfect but once in the rear passanger seat it get a little loud. The only problem I have with the exhaust is drowning. Now I'm looking for a way maybe making it a little quieter. The plus side was that I only paid 743$ for the exhaust.
