Yes sir.OEM tire size?
so since you have experience with the AWE touring, I would be pairing it to a downpipe. How loud is it with stock cat? Pretty quiet in cabin? Definitely looking for something thats got a deep tone, with little to no drone, and I am not looking for excessively loud. Even with the touring exhaust you experienced some burbles? Not that my opinion matters but the AWE Touring exhaust use AWEsome, highly underrated and one of the lesser expensive systems available.
With the adjustable position Black Tips it retails for $1,345. The deceleration burble gives me happy shivers every time. You can also switch to the Track version or dual pipe config with some adapters they offer. You may think AWE is a one trick pony but on a Type R itās a win-whinny situation,
Through the magic of editing, you now know that every system includes a genuine Blow Pop, pretend like you didnāt know that yet. Thank you CaptClutch!
Besides tune hardware all stock except K&N air filter. Volume is neat actually. Handled gingerly, Iād say 3 on 10 scale yet you can still hear & feel your eng rumble in mods, very pleasant. Get on it and instant head turns, what is that, sounds hot. You can tell thereās a magic box like under the back seat almost with windows up and speakerphone peeps report pleasant background awareness driving windows up. Down more prominent but not overpowering and good mix, no rasp or zing. Thereās slight blooming around 2700 but not even close to a reverb drone. Think Jekyll-Hyde big time.so since you have experience with the AWE touring, I would be pairing it to a downpipe. How loud is it with stock cat? Pretty quiet in cabin? I don't know why so many of us are having such vastly different experiences with the AWE Touring exhaust. I have it with a stock cat, and I think the "drone" (or whatever the hell the noise is called) from around 2200 rpm to 2800 rpm in 6th gear is borderline unacceptable even with the CTR being my weekend/fun car. I would not commute on the highway (below 70 MPH) with this level of noise. People in your backseat will not be able to hold a regular volume conversation or talk on the phone when cruising between 58 and 69 MPH. Above 70 MPH it quiets down quite a lot. I really wish it was that same volume from 58 to 69 mph. Otherwise, I absolutely love the sound of the exhaust (aside from a slight rattle, that I am--at this point--still willing to admit might be my fault). In every other situation outside of 58-69 MPH highway cruising I think the sound and volume level are perfect.so since you have experience with the AWE touring, I would be pairing it to a downpipe. Hey Dave, where in destin did you have this installed and do you mind me asking the price? My apartment isnāt too fond of people working on their cars lol.Besides tune hardware all stock except K&N air filter. Volume is neat actually. Yes, burbles on routine up and downshifts with rev match on. Iāve had some track and tech training so I can d-c just fine but Hondaās system plays nicely with AWE. It is louder than I thought itād be but not more than I wanted. My AWET is not broken in yet w/just about 1k/mi.
I may try to record a crappy vid this weekend that would at least give some idea from novice perspective. They did good and havenāt seen anyone NOT like it yet. I havenāt fiddled but you can easily change/stagger tips to taste. Pic was from Kyrorad install last week.
Its about the same diameter wise, both measures at about 6 inches all around. But oem is a sphere and hybrid racing is like a tear drop, with hybrid racing u get more height especially with the shift collar mod.How does it compare to oem in diameter?

Not really, But I dint know I have a followerDid you really just quote yourself to have all 20 of your pictures show up again?
That exhaust is know for drone . I installed and tested myself in another R, great sound btw .I don't know why so many of us are having such vastly different experiences with the AWE Touring exhaust.
