That's because Hondata's tunes have sensibly set aircharge limits, torque requests and AFRs - that way the fuel pump limit is not necessary, because there will not be a continuous demand for so much fuel. If you are hitting the fuel pump limit repeatedly and continuously, that might mean that you are requesting too much torque for the fuel system to safely handle or are running too rich (albeit running rich is probably necessary to safely run the torque you are requesting, which brings us back to requesting too much torque).Im done with you. Hondata doesn’t even limit the fuel pump they let it go all out. If you opened it up and look under fuel and pump your see where there is a box that says limit fuel pump. It’s NOT CHECKED OFF!!!!
Which is exactly one of the reasons I kept torqte down. My fuel difference between hondata ots or stock fueling when pressure drops is the difference between 12.2 and 11.8. It’s not enough to create hundreds of psi drop. I do run leaner lower. About 12.5. That was also reduce fuel demand. I don’t run 11.8 across the board like k tuner. I only run it in the heaviest load and that’s it. The way the car behaves on the dyno considering I basically tuned it on the street was different due to load changes. Regardless I decided to pull more torque between 4-4500 to reduce demand cause I noticed after driving with logs if I started later into the rpm range I didn’t lose as much pressure. I don’t think peaking 389 torque for 500 rpm is worth it. I’ll lose 30 ft lb for better consistency. That's because Hondata's tunes have sensibly set aircharge limits, torque requests and AFRs - that way the fuel pump limit is not necessary, because there will not be a continuous demand for so much fuel. I didn’t reduce torque request i reduces air charge so as it gets hotter it won’t try to add to much pressure to compensate. Also tapered iat chart. I didn’t reduce the torque demand because it will easily hit that number in colder weather. I’d just be chocking down the cars ability to perform n colder weather. So how much torque are you requesting now?
Go run a data log on hondata tune look at your pump demand. 100 percent! Your still a keyboard chaser. Trash talker. I don’t post half the crap cause guys like you who have no life and troll the forums just to talk shit!! Instead of sharing you just blurt our like a child.”oh your wrong you dont know what your about”. This is exactly why everyone talks shit about Honda forums. Cause a lot of people here talk shit. I truly don’t give a fuck if I get removed at this point. If they do I want them to delete every post I’ve ever made and have every person I’ve just tried to help go to you so you can just be an ass to them instead of helping. He knows so much I'm surprised he hasn't posted one of his amazing wot logs for use peasants to look at sense we don't know anything.
Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!says right in hondata help video on tuning to run 3-4 runs before changing anything in the tune.. for fuel to learn/level out
Protip, use the live tuning tables when you can. It will avoid the fuel learning since you never reflash the ECU. The changes are instant as you change the tables and remain in the ECU even after disconnecting the flashpro and shutting down the car. I know there's a lot of tables that AREN'T on it, but it has the important ones.
I should have but I didn’t think I’d run into so much of a headache. I forgot at first about multiple pulls. My timing was good from the start. I should have used the air charge chart and a couple others live but I’d still have to reflash as cam charts I don’t think are live. I made unnecessary adjustments because I second guessed myself what I knew was good. I also didn’t think I’d need 6-7 flashes to get there. If I had Not gone against my gut I’d have done it in two maybe three flashes instead of hunting for something that wasn’t there. I remembered the fuel learn but questioned something else was wrong. What should have been maybe 6 pulls was more than 15. I also waited for the afr to start moving on the hondata and it’s stuck in 14.71 for a while after flashes. Again more damn heat. It was just heat soaked at the end. Either way it’s cleared up now. I’m sure it would make more Power on a cool pull. Because of the heat the bonus was I was able to adjust my iat reduction curve. That wasn’t my smoothest dyno but my highest power before it really soaked out. Always appreciate it thank you kefi. When I get turbo upgrade you better believe I’m going live to save the headaches.Protip, use the live tuning tables when you can. It will avoid the fuel learning since you never reflash the ECU.
