Just installed my goodridge lines a couple days ago. Definitely better brake feel! Thm motorsports has this kit for 109 shipped.

TireRack was under $100 shipped to Hawaii.
After a few weeks, another major improvement is changed to EBC front and rear. EBC appears to be more gentle to rotor as well.

Our cars are so new. Can you guys really tell a difference in pedal feel after installing SS lines? Iā€™m assuming you didnā€™t have air in the system prior to install.

Quite a lot of different. It is not so spongy and it gives a liner braking effect. Overall, shorter braking distance and you are in better control than OEM rubber hose.

If it's really that noticeable of a difference, Honda did a really bad job with their rubber hoses. I too feel that the stock pedal feel is a tad spongy and would like it to be more firm but I just attributed that to the sliding calipers. I thought that the only way to correct this would be to upgrade to a front BBK that uses a fixed caliper. But for only $100 and some time I'll give the SS lines a shot.

In my case, Post brake line change, brake pedal feel is slightly firmer but did not significantly shorten braking distance.

Immediate and shorter stopping distance came after EBC Yellow Stuff brake pads F/R installed the following week. EBC appears to be more gentle to the rotor but increase brake Dust for sure.

Yesterday, Rays Gram Lights and Michelin S4S combo were installed and shorter braking distance is significantly enhanced again.

Stainless line is a nice first step.

Thanks for your feedback. If the lines do noticeably have a firmer feel, even if just slightly, thats a positive. I wouldnā€™t expect lines to have any appreciable effect on stopping distance. Anyone with common sense will tell you tires then pads are the main factors which you experienced.

Had a bit of time today and installed the set of goodridge ss brske lines that have been sitting in my garage for over a year. But only had time to do the fronts. I was a bit skeptical on the claims here that a noticeable improvement in pedal feel was gained in normal driving but boy was i wrong. I can definitely feel a stiffer pedal with just the front lines in. Was definitely worth the time and cost. Hopefully adding the rear lines later will increase pedal feel even slightly more. This combined with the superpro front control arms with poly bushings have nicely improved braking feel for me without the need for a bbk.

@pinhead66 @Si2020
can anyone confirm the part number for the Goodridge SS brake line on the Si sedan?

I looked up the form i see Humza from unity got the 20040 and am looking for further part number confirmation for people that installed them.

Thank you!

I wouldn't sell them if I didn't confirm fitment on one of our own cars. in this case on all 3 of our SI's :)

As Unity said, that's the correct part #. The only gripe I had with these lines is that they are not a perfect fit. The oem brackets where the hard line connects to the brake hose have a D shaped opening and the goodridge lines don't acommodate for that. Also the oem rear lines has a L-shaped hook at the caliper side to secure it to the caliper body. The goodridge lines are missing that as well. All this made installation a bit tougher and more time consuming.
