New to the group and new CTR owner. I'm in Cleveland and the Type R is going to be my daily driver. Looking for any advice on winter prep.

Obviously will be swapping out wheels/tires. Researching those now and would welcome any suggestions.

I've had a couple people of ask me if I'm undercoating...haven't had any experience with this. Anyone do this? If so do you do it yourself or take in in somewhere to be done?

Anything else you do for winter prep?

Thanks!

I got a second set of rims with snows, Toyo Observe GSI-6 was what was recommended and also I got unlimited car washes with the undercarriage wash. I keep my cars for while and both Hondas I previously had power steering lines rotted out and one had a steel brake line rottbout. I didn’t wash the under carriage on those cars.

Yeah wound up doing rust proofing by Krown. I also run it through a touchless car wash which includes and under wash.
