got the v1.2 tuner w/ dual factorynormal/19.5 sport map goin. So far so good. RPM indeed drop faster. Not nearly as fast as my old stick but its good. I just need to get used to it again now.
If you have not gotten it yet, get TSP's stage 1 tune. It's a lot better than the Ktuner base maps

It gives you more whp and torque, and it delivers the power all the way through the RPM range, while the Ktuner base tunes delivery power early and then begin to sputter out. Plus you can change maps on the fly, and it has a feature call No Lift Shift. Check out the Two Step Performance website, they have a comparison chart

im not really racing or anything just daily commute, and people are saying tsps1 will kill stock clutch but i dont really drop it at 4k rpm. Would it stsill benefit me daily driving?

Not true, unless you constantly WOT in map 3 in 5th or 6th gear at lower RPM. Also it's not about racing, it's about a better driving experience. I drove on this tune about a year and 15k with no issues, including my clutch

You can safely use map 2. You can also use map 3, just make sure your RPM is 3k and over before going wot

I love how you're still the local tune pusher, even though you're no longer an owner yourself! ;) I'd like to try a car with rev hang deleted, just so I can feel the difference. Probably because I'm a more conservative driver and don't autocross or track, I don't have any problem with how the car is set up.

I'm probably a bit of a tune pusher myself and for good reason. I know a lot of people think of a tune as pushing obscene amounts of power. But the reality is, it's just as much a tool to tweak driveability. You literally could run stock boost and just remove rev hang and tweak throttle response, for a much better daily driver.

Oh you totally are, and I appreciate both of you. I've learned tons about the subject over the last year, and am most grateful for the survey data you are curating. The only thing really holding me back at this point is warranty paranoia.

I'm still an enthusiast first, no matter what cars people own. I'm also part of Clublexus, where interestingly a few of the moderators are current or former Honda owners and got their start tuning Hondas and Acuras

i like this tune tsp stage one w/ rev hang enables is ok. It is smooth idk what it is. the ramp up first feels more gradual. I like it alot. map1 tsp tune and its very safe. I like it alot more than ktune normal/sport19.5. I hadnt tried map 2 and I never will.

Crakzor...

TSP (D-Rob) and KTuner have a somewhat different approach to their tune's driving feel.

With KTuner, things tend to feel really snappy off the line with a solid midrange. Where things go south is at high rpm. It's a bit of a letdown.

With the TSP tune, things feel a little softer off the line. And then is gets really good. There's a smooth linear feel all the way up to 6000+ rpm. That progressive power is awesome.

The KTuner base tunes are very good. The TSP Stage 1 is a notch above. It's a more polished feeling tune IMO.
