Well, today I bit the bullet and traded in my 2018 si for a 2017 type R they the carvana website... I pick up my champ white type R on the the 31st... can’t wait!
With that said I’ll have some parts for sale from my si...
I’ll be returning it to stock form before I make the deal...

parts will be located in Long Island New York and include:
Map downpipe and frontpipe...
Map short ram intake
Prl flex fuel kit
Hasport rear motor mount
And I’d be willing to trade my black work emotion cr Kai 18x7.5 wheels with stock tires and plenty of tread left on them for stock oem wheels and tires that are in mint condition plus a few dollars on top, I’m not looking for much on these parts would just rather them go to someone who is in need then leave them on the car for the trade in...
Anyone interested send me a message...

Well there you go! congratulations, they are pretty awesome, I have a thread on my experience driving one (I think I told you that already). This is where Honda put their money, and it shows. Between 3000 RPM and all the way to 7000 RPM...all I can say is DAMN. It's awesome you picked up a used one, if you don't mind letting us know what you paid for it. I have a co-worker who bought thru Carvana, and they loved the experience. Also, I would be reluctant to mod it, reason is that I am sure that this car is going appreciate and be worth quite a bit in 15 to 20 years, but only if kept stock. That is if you decide to keep it that long. Anyway, good luck on whatever route you go in buying one!

Lucky! I've been drooling over getting a Type R ever since I got my Si, but I'm afraid it's just not within my budget right now. Good luck with the switch!

It would help if you listed prices. Interested in the FP/DP!
fp and dp have about 5k mikes on them... I forget what i pad for them new i think about 700.00 but I’d take 400.00 if that’s reasonable...
Picked up in Bohemia Long Island only...

I’m going to leave it mostly stock... maybe an intake and tune but that’s about it... I’ve wanted a type R since the integral hit the states in the 90s I spent a lot of time in Japan and have been a fan of imports since the ef civic first came out so to me this is the holy grail, of course aside from an nsx but as an artist I don’t see that happening any time soon
I got a 2017 champ white with 10k miles for 33000, between new insurance, a higher credit score, my trade in (si) and 5k down my overall payments will be 100 less then I’m paying for my si and insurance now so for me it’s a winner! And I finally will have a bucket list car to cross off!

Man they really hold their value, but luckily you avoided the dealership markup and let the previous owner eat some of the depreciation. Again congrats and enjoy your new baby

OP, you should really consider shipping, you'll sell your parts faster. When I sold my Si, I sold all parts pretty quickly all over the US and made some good friends in the process. Use PayPal and it will safe.
