He’s oem cmc. Has lockout sometimes at redline. But says no issues other than that
I mean, I didn't have any issues except a little lockout at redline sometimes until I had that major lockout event one day from 1-2 at redline. I suspect if he's not having any issues yet he doesn't drive it really, really hard.

You did say your pedal was off and what not though.

After the major lockout event where I assumed I blew out my master cylinder, yes. Until then, everything seemed peachy. This is what prompted me to swap in the N1 I had sitting in the box.

I think if I drove it like a sane person and not like a racecar driver, I may have never had an issue.

I'll be honest - I was hammering on it for a while on TSP stage 1 map 3, trying to see if I could make the clutch slip.

Well I hammer my clutch and nothing goes wrong lol. It should even slip because tsp stage 1 doesn't make enough torque for the rated torque capacity of the ACT supposedly.

Yeah, and nothing went wrong with the clutch.

I had a master cylinder problem instead.

If I could weld, I'd probably have welded a cap over the diaphragm on my OEM master cylinder to try and homebrew something like the kzCMC but I lack both the skills and the equipment.

When I ordered my CTR clutch I asked Eman what I would gain with his CTR CMC. He said that the Si CMC would be fine. He said the only difference would be that the CTR CMC would shift faster. I didn't need the speed so I kept my Si CMC. I haven't had any lockouts or anything. I think it might be due to the washer that Eman had me put under the clutch fork pivot pin. Eman is the man!

Washer... under the fork pivot pin. So you removed the pivot pin, put a washer over the threads, and reinstalled it? Interesting strategy, it seems like it would have helped bring the adjustment requirement of my ACT clutch kit back closer to OEM instead of being way off in lala land.

Yeah I drive my car pretty hard everyday, still have oem CMC and about 5k miles almost on it, no issues at all.

Did you guys use oem flywheel bolts or the ones included? Also does it come with pressure plate bolts?
I am not certain on this. My video I made unboxing the item shows what comes in the box, I forget lol

So is that all his cmc is? A type r cmc? If so I guess that makes sense if it’s a bigger bore like the old model civics. Some came with 15/16 cmc and some 1” depending on model civic.

It’s not he makes them for R’s and Non R’s. They are brand new cmc’s for type r and non that is modified internally to delete the dampener.
