Here is my ctr tb adapter.. it runs and drives fine. I am tuning the throttle table as i gather data. Material was a little thin but its a working prototype

fk8 tb is 60mm the non turbo is 55mm

Man I wish I lived closer to the OP, Its always cool to witness these type of adventures!
nothing new in the works, got an intercooler installed last week, debating on which turbo, prl or 27won, also what clutch, wanting a carbon single but no one has one.

You won't find anything better on this platform then the R retrofit. Unfortunately.
Yeah, at the moment for street cars. Worried about retro fit oem clutch and slicks. Ive already emailed exedy about the multiplate offering or hyper singles. Hope they give me good news.

There's people running the retrofit to 500hp+. And exedy will be making a option for the type R. Which will make the retrofit even a beter option for down the line when you start to wear it out.

The issue is surface area.

Your only other option if you dont want the retrofit is a fx725 twin disc. But everyone has warned me it's not a fun daily clutch at all.

The biggest problem with a twin is the havoc it wreaks on the crank position signal.

So how did the tuning go?
it runs and drives like stock, the highest g/s i can see at the top is is 189- went to dyno and couldnt get it to run commanded boost, ran 16 up to 20. i think it was becuase scramble wasnt on and all christmass tree on dash, havent been back since. made 225 that time. runs 25-22 on the street
