Are you in Orange County, CA? If so you must be near a racetrack to get 100 plus octaneHow much 101 unleaded and 91 octane do i need to mix to make 93 in our coupe tank?
Oh God, mine as well. To much mathMy head hurts.
You had me until "weighted"It's a weighted average with some algebra to find the number you want *93. You guys are funny.

I'm interested in getting flex-fuel but is there any downside? Like reliability, the inconvenience of running to a flex-fuel gas station for gas when travelling far out? Sorry, I don't know much about flex-fuel but it sounds super interesting!I did this once, I put 2 gallons of 100 unleaded with the rest 91 and it was a very minimal difference. Wasn’t worth the $7+ gal. I did the same but with 1.5 gallons of e85 (keep it under 20%) and that felt the same and ran smoother at idle. So I did that for a while.
Now I just switched to flex-fuel and it’s much much much more fun now and I still get 39-40mpg cruising down the highway.
Most people do an E30 or E40 blend, running full E85 doesn't give any additional benefits. Other than the inconvenience of having to go to two different gas stations to blend, there are probably no other issues, but if going Flex fuel you should monitor your fuel trimsI'm interested in getting flex-fuel but is there any downside? So far no issues and if you can’t get any e85 then it still is like the stage 1. You don’t have to always put e in it. I had to gas up yesterday but wasn’t near any stations with e so I just pumped 91. It’s at 14% and drives totally fine.I'm interested in getting flex-fuel but is there any downside?
