Has anyone installed the 27Won Intercooler yet?

I am curious to know the AIT1 and AIT2 numbers...will probably get one in the near future. Beautiful piece of kit.

I’ve installed one, quality is amazing, step by step instructions are on point. I have not really been able to tell any temp differences at this point as it’s been in the 30°-40°’s and raining or snowing. Need warm weather to see how much cooler temps actually are

The pipes don’t hit anything

Nope the valve cover and the originally orange 27Won MAF sensor housing are sprayed with VHT high temp wrinkle paint. Just did the MAF housing but the valve cover was done last summer. Has held up perfectly

Anyone have AIT1 vs AIT2 numbers?

I am curious how much it is lowering temps on stock cars.

If that’s all you were installing I would say around 4 hours, if you’ve got other projects going on like I did, it took me about 7 hours. Nothing was overly difficult, just take your time to not screw up the bumper and to make sure everything is tight before reassembling the car

I have the PRL intercooler (which is relatively the same in build) and the hondata app on the headunit so I am able to see temps , during spirited driving (which is where you’ll see most of the difference) you get about a 20-60° temp difference. During normal driving the numbers are much smaller since you are not pushing the car it’s about 5-30° difference. Of course it depends on outside temps, when I tested it, it was on separate days but the temps were Day1: 84°/Day2: 86° at the time. Our engine bays run HOT, I recommend heat wrapping the piping/tubing with those heat resistant tapes to lower temps. It’s only a small marginal difference but every degree temp dropped is a win in my book.

I wish I had a garage that that to work in Brandonduley.
