Aftermarket parking sensors

Just purchased a 2020 honda civic, it doesn't come with any parking sensors at all on any trims. Honda offered to add aftermarket 6 point sensors on for me(front and rear), I know it's cheaper to get it done somewhere else but since it's a brand new car they said they will cover warranty on the aftermarket sensors too.

Just wondering if anyone know which model they will be using as the sales guy wasn't too sure but he said it's not the half moon looking one anymore.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but i think that civics in other markets have factory parking sensors. I wonder if we could retrofit these on our US civics...

Yes, i believe it's standard now for the 2020 civics.

LOL - of course it is standard now. Had a 2018, flipped it due to unsolvable issues with the AM Radio reception problem that exists in all 2016-2018 at least sedan and hatch, unsure exactly which variations. But I flipped that to a 2019. I can't flip it again for a 2020 just to get that. LoL

I don't think blind spot monitoring is standard on the 2020s. At least it wasn't on my 2020 Hatchback Sport.
I just ended up getting convex side mirrors and adjusted it so that I could see my blind spot on both sides and the rest of the stuff I could see before.

is it a dealer specific add-on or oem honda installation like the interior lights?

My 2020 only has lane-watch. I don’t even think blind spot monitoring is an option which is frustrating.

I've been wanting to add some to my 2017 EX-T. Shame that none of the NA Civics got parking sensors while European and Asian (I believe?) got them.

Wait, wait....Hold on a sec here. Are you stating that you sold your car because your AM radio reception was bad???

Couldn't you have gotten like a piece of crap Walkman or small portable radio or even a hand held police scanner to tune into it and then use an aux in or something??

Or better yet, use an Aux in for an FM transmitter ??
