Anyone here hit Bear Mountain once the weather gets nicer?

I'm from North Jersey and usually link up with my boys from Central Jersey every year to do some Bear Mountain runs.

Would definitely like to see if any other 10th gen members would want to pull through when we go for our first trip some time in April. There's a few set routes that we run that have barely any civilian traffic, let a brotha know.

Hey All!

Central Jersey guy here and I just picked up my hooptie in Feb.

I got a new suspension and tires coming but aside from that she's stock. If you think I could keep up, I'd love to make the run if our schedules can coordinate!

Will definitely post soon once I can figure out a weekend that works with all my boys, will probably be mid April just wanted to see how many other civicx owners were around the area.

Most definitely man! I run through the mountains with friends in LX civics on sticky tires, horsepower doesn't really matter too much as long as your suspension and tire setup is decent/new

Solid! Yeah, let me know. I typically work weekends so that might make it a little difficult for me. (Days off are Tuesday Thursday) But even if I can't make it, I'd definitely be interested in the routes you take if you feel like sending those over

Gotcha homie, I can try to outline some of them on google maps later and send you them but majority of them I only know how to get there by starting off from the palisades parkway exit

But look up Harriman State Park on google maps. If you set up your GPS to go there I guarantee you'll find amazing roads just by driving around.

There's this one route there which leads to the top of a mountain/lookout, it's a curvy twisty road leading to the top that's about 2 miles with no walls on the side, just a few rock boulders here and there. On the top is a parking lot with a beautiful view overlooking the area. Used to spend hours doing runs up and down and just hanging out with the homies up top, you'll likely catch a lot of other drivers/bikers here too.

Glad to see so much interest in this, will definitely keep this post updated when we decide on a date. Just want to make sure weather is good and we hit the mountains on a nice sunny day

Not sure I'll have my good wheel and tires on by then.

Corona is getting pretty bad.. I'm hoping it won't last too far into Summer but at this point who knows..

If everyone drives there own car to bear mountain and keep distance from each other we're good.

Went on a spontaneous trip to bear mountain this past weekend because the weather was good and it was nice af out there. Lots of other people hitting the roads now and taking advantage. We can definitely do this just stay strapped with some masks and gloves if we choose to get out the car lol
