Enjoying my new GReddy exhaust. Finally some decent sound. OEM is just pathetic.
Which Greddy? I've been eyeing the DD-R, Borla, and 27Won (still undecided on what I want to do). I like the Greddy for the price and 3" (and somewhat the looks), Borla for sound adjustability and looks (also acts as a Goldilocks in terms of price), and 27Won for 3" and looks (but is so pricey).

After all the research I came to the conclusion that any gains would be modest and anything sounds better than stock. I couldn't justify dropping mega bucks so I went with the GReddy Supreme SP.
The quality is impressive for the price. I don't mind the dual tip design and if I want I can always upgrade the front and mid pipe later and still be cheaper than most systems.
I've only got about 50 miles on it so it's still "breaking in". It's about 25% louder than stock with a deep tone. There was a little drone but I've already dialed most of it out with some dynamat in the trunk. I'm sure after a few hundred miles it will be completely gone. Also there's a definite bump in the midrange.
Short cold start clip with a blip of the throttle around :30 sec.

I was leaning towards the Greddy DD-R because it lacks drone. And if MAPerformance were to get it back in stock, 12 months 0% which is a plus.

Where'd you find the hats?
Hats were In the back seat when I held the previous owner at gunpoint. He mumbled something about eBay, Amazon and Etsy before I tortured him... made him drive a Smart For Two, UPHILL! MHRIP.

j/k

Anyone catch the real Hot Wheels Type R back there too? WOD:Stratification

Today I got the heel plate in from Matt in Poland. Great quality and customized with production number (+$). If you get one, be patient with shipping time as sent three weeks ago. Etsy:

Next mod (before ToTD): Koyorad double core radiator and Torque Solutions red silicone radiator hoses.
All this +HP needs better chiller and no desire to R2 Intercooler at this point.

Re-fitted the battery with more foam pads on the bottom. Reused factory battery shield and tie-down. Temporary setup for now. Good enough for around town and I don’t track. Will look for something more sturdy and heat-resistant in place of foam pads.

There was no way I was going to get better than 27 WONS own.
The issue with those is that they are obviously processed. So comparing those to something else is extremely unfair. They did a good job with their video as it is extremely well made, but I don’t entirely trust the audio to compare against others.
