These new Mustang's are so comfortable. I have the fully loaded 401A package with the digital dash, active exhaust, heated and cooled seats, 12 speaker sound system, stitched dashboard, etc etc. I took a 2500 miles trip over New Years and it was a comfortable cruiser even with the 20 inch rims. The power from the V8 is addicting. It is not like the Camaro or the Challenger/Charger which have the 6.2 or 5.7/6.4 liter V8 and they have massive low end torque. The 5.0 V8 loves to rev to its 7500 rpm readline and is such a blast to push 460 hp and 420 ft/lb of torque. The sound of the 5.0 is better to me than the Chevy or Dodge V8, its a screamer!

I receive a lot of thumbs up and compliments from people which is always nice. However, a lot of people want to race, and it's usually the cars that have very little performance compared to the Mustang. I don't race, I drive on the back roads for my fun and push the car for my own pleasure not to race others in traffic and around public. If I want to do that, I take it to the drag strip.
True but I like to play around with friends and other fun loving drivers on the open highway, just do it when the highways arenā€™t full of traffic if you want to play a bit, not advising anyone to drive erratically. We use to street race in business complexes until the cops would show up and we would all run different ways. Just being in an industrial park watching you get in trouble for.

I am in Virginia and cops here do not play around. 20mph over the limit and your license can be taken away and car impounded depending on how upset the state trooper is that day lol. However, I agree that having fun with friends and like minded fun drivers is always a blast!

Before purchasing the Si, Household 6 signed off on a '19 Mustang GT w/ the performance package. After the test drive, I REALLY wanted it. However, with 2 kids, I though better of it (although it was a hell of a deal). Like yea, I can "fit" my kids back there, but it'd be uncomfortable even for them.
Yea, the back seats are for nothing more than storage! Good decision sticking with the Si, the Mustang is strictly a 2 person car in my opinion.

I attribute the idiotic behavior from other drivers because of my quad tip exhaust. Always have some speed racer wannabe revving at me. It's even worse when I am in my vette. Had a guy in an SUV the other night throw it in neutral and kept revving at me while sitting at a stop light. I looked over and gave him the "whatever" look. He gave up when he realized I wasn't having any of it.

Cause he'd really stand a chance in his SUV against a Z06

This is just a thought, maybe the SUV dude was hoping to get you to rev your engine just to hear that sweet, sweet V8 in the Vette come to life?

It is possible but usually they'll roll their window down and chat with me first. The one's who don't are usually just being jackasses. Much like this guy from last night -

I was doing 38 in a 35 and he flew past me as if I was sitting still. He got stuck up ahead at the next red light and that's when I hit the record button.

Oh, yeah, that definitely wasn't a Vette enthusiast. What a fool. I laughed hard when he lurched forward at the stoplight... OH man. Haha

The challenge. There she was, shiny, spotted, predatory, trying to be more red than me. Showing off, luring me in, hopping all over, the ladybug equivalent of three horn toots.

I knew she could beat me to at least 15 mph with that wing thing and small turbo, skeletal Intercooler. Found her weak spot... she hits redline out at 37 mph, I can pass her in second gear with 133 mph in reserve. Thatā€™s if she doesnā€™t go Mantis.

I got this one. Even though I donā€™t track my R, confidence is high I can exterminate and accelerate.
Donā€™t bug me anymore lady!
