Total Losa? What did your insurance pay?

Deleted member 31314

They offered me 34,840.39 :( Not too happy with the offer, and they didn't take my PPF or Ceramic Coating into consideration at all...
That's not bad all thing considered, pretty close to the cost brand new. Was that there first offer? Never take the first offer, negotiate the extra work in if you can and see what they come back with...

Just curious - did the car start up and run/drive fine before they took it? Thanks.

Good luck with the offer - I'd submit the receipts for the PPF and CC and ask again for them to take it into consideration.

To be fair they offered 32,800 or so... the 34,800 is taxes etc.

So this was their first offer. Waiting to see what they come back to me with.

The issue I have is KBB, and CarFax both say retail price on my car is 37k and wholesale price is 33k. Trade in on my car is 34-35k so Progressive is completely lowballing me on their offer expecting me to take it. I want them to offer me 35k pre tax.

sorry for what happened, but you really think tint and ceramic coating will increase the value? maybe in terms of private party sale, sure, but in case with insurance they don't give a f.... even if you have 3000 hp engine they won't give you $100k for your car

Keep us updated. As you already know you don't have to take their first offer and you can negotiate.

I did Negotiate. I ultimately got 35k and change. I have purchased a new Type R.

Progressive is weird... I have them for my Type R as well but they wouldn’t touch my Exige lol... I didn’t lie when they asked about aftermarket stuff and when they asked about aftermarket suspension that disqualified the vehicle.

I just stick to AAA. I know I can trust them with it.

Well, he said ppf, not tint. So we could easily be talking ~$300 vs >$1000. Progressive 'seemed' to take into account my ~$1800 of ppf on my totaled Focus RS.

Glad you were able to get another one. I'm assuming you got another 2019?
