Maybe I'm showing my age here, I've got roughly 1500 miles on my CTR at the moment... have done some exceptionally silly things in both Sport and R mode that left me giggling... but to be honest I expect to do exceptionally silly things in this car that leave me smiling. What stands out to me? Comfort mode. Sure, I can still mash the gas and get pressed into my seat, but for just general driving around, the car seems completely chill. Am I the only one here who appreciates CM? I also like how when I switch from CM to SM, the car surges a little bit like it's ready to play.

Cheers!

I like it while on the highway for sure. But around town or in suburban areas, sport mode at minimum just for throttle response

Comfort 90% of the time, mainly because of the traffic and routes on my commute. I like it too when it soaks up the bumps on bad roads.

Sport is awesome (great throttle response, and steering input), but you need space to take advantage of that mode.

Yeah, Comfort Mode is awesome, all modes are awesome really I think I use them each just about equally in terms of time driving in each mode. I can see how some folks may not find value in CM depending on how they drive the car or the roads they drive on, but for my daily driving it is a really neat and appreciated feature to have.

The road outside of my neighborhood has some rough manhole bumps and then railroad tracks to go over that CM handles really well. Also when I go into the office, I go over ~6 speed bumps each way (in and out of the parking lot), and sometimes I go home at lunch, so that's 24 times I go over speed bumps in a given day in the R. I do go slow and easy but CM makes the bumps noticeably less harsh.

When I drive with my wife, I'm pretty much always in CM hah

I generally only use comfort mode on very harsh roads, in very slow moving stop and go traffic, or I'm behind a line of cars at a stop light. Before I got 18" rims, I used it more for suspension comfort reasons, but now it's more or less just for speed as sport seems comfortable enough for trips and the throttle response is nice, unless it becomes a hassle (slow moving traffic).

Love Comfort Mode as well for rough roads and people hauling. The car does so many other things well is just amazing even at the current asking price.

I love the suspension in comfort, but boy the throttle response is something I do not love. Feel like I have to really stab the gas pedal to even get moving from a stop smoothly without taking forever.

One aspect I miss from my old Golf R would resolve that. You could individually tune the suspension / steering / throttle / etc and have a custom option usable on the fly. That would be a nice option on the CTR. There are times where I'd like the softer suspension with the quicker throttle response... most times I'm in comfort though, I'm glad I can press the accelerator without crashing into a barn in 1955. :)

i rarely use comfort mode because i hate how light the steering gets and the dull throttle response. I really wish this car had customized driving modes.

Comfort mode + brake hold = relaxation

I find it great to jump between settings depending on the situation at hand but love puttering around in Comfort for sure

I use to use comfort mode all the time as well then I lowered it. Now comfort mode isn't so comfy. Oh well

For highway driving and my daily commute, or when my wife is in the car, I'm in Comfort mode most of the time. It may be my imagination but I feel like I get better mileage on the highway in Comfort. Took a road trip this weekend, mostly highway, and got 31 mpg. I wish we could do individual drive modes but I find all three settings we have usable in different situations.

I use comfort mode most of the time . But, truth be told, I've only got 275 miles on the car. Once broken in (600+ miles), I'll experiment some more. I need to get use to +R before the autocross season starts in a few weeks.
