RESONATOR DELETE ONLY?

people say that only a resonator delete can decrease low end torque...is this true?
i have a stock car only intake....no tuning

Resonator function is really to muffle exhaust sound. Unless the resonator diameter is too big, resonator replacement will not reduce low end torque.

My resonator was removed when I had my exhaust put on a few years ago. I noticed zero change in the low end.
