Is there a thread or any data on what was actually paid for a 2020 Si? I'm trading in my 2017 EX-T on Friday and am looking to make sure that I at least get a decent deal. I'm estimating that the trade difference will be ~$9000.
I just bought my 2020 Si yesterday, at Honda of Conyers (Atlanta). Paid 25100 including all of their bs add on fees.

I just posted a thread on this but thought I would chime in with my story. I have two dealerships that I have to offer up on the list.

First one: Wesley Chapel Honda.
So long story short, I saw an ad online that offered the 2017 CIvic SI coupe (at the time, last years model) for an "internet price of 23,300". I call the dealership and ask if this is legit and they assure me that it is. I tell them to hold the car and I will be in within an hour to buy it. I get to the dealership and meet with "moe" who seems like a nice enough guy. I tell him that I am comfortable with the price as is and want to buy the car. Moe talks to his manager and comes back with paper work that has the car being 27k without tax title etc etc. I tell him that this is not the price we agreed on and he explains to me that the "internet price" is before all the add ons. We bicker back and forth for 2 hours lowering the price 300-400 at a time until I ask to see the car. Come to find out, the car is at Tampa Honda and I can not view it. I call tampa honda and explain the situation. They offer me the internet price so i get up to leave with the paperwork in hand and the manager runs over and blocks the door. He begins to yell at me and says " you come in here and waste all of our time over a couple hundred dollars! If you dont buy this car, Moe's family doesn't get to eat tonight, you realize that right? (I couldn't make this up). I turn to him and say; "what makes you think I give a shit about you, Moe or his family? Im here to buy a car, not get ripped off." At this point the manager rips the paper work out of my hand and says the car isn't for sale and asks me to leave. Moe follows me out to the parking lot apologizing for his manager and pleads with me to come back inside to work something out. I tell Moe to pound sand and leave. I later picked up the car from Tampa honda for the internet price.

Second one: Tampa Honda
Although the buying process at Tampa Honda was easy enough, the service is absolutely horrendous. (Buying might have been easy because I came in extremely irritated and not willing to deal with any of their shit since I just dealt with Wesley Chapel)
Long story short, and technically a repost but:

"I kept throwing codes and they made me come back 3-4 times to figure out that my injectors were causing issues. Which by the 3-4 time I was over my 36K warranty so they refused to cover me. They knew I drove a ton for work and so they basically just had to wait it out and keep clearing the codes till I was past warranty. When the problem first popped up, one of the service advisers told me that unless the engine light is on when it comes in, they cant check to see what it is.

When I stopped in on the second time for the same issue, the only thing they did was the Climate control recall, then tried to charge me for a diagnostic fee. After I voiced my concern, they acted like they were doing me a huge solid by not charging me.... THIS WAS RECALL WORK!!! I didn't find out later until I requested a service history of everything done on the vehicle. You can imagine my surprise when I realized that they didn't even attempt to fix the problem that I originally came in for. They replaced the Climate control unit then just cleared the codes.

While Im on the topic, they refused me a rental car on the last trip saying that I put too many miles on the other one. Again, they knew I drive a ton for my job, they held onto my car for over 3 days at one point and still didn't fix the issue leading me to come back and and have to take more days off work. They are complete and utter scumbags over there. Oh and their dealer mark up on the Type R is like 20K so theres that. Also, the "unlimited oil changes for $7.99/month" yeah they are full of shit. You only get 4 or so oil changes a year then it is no longer covered....EVER! I get my oil changed every 3 weeks so you can imagine why I purchased the plan. its a scam.

Today I went to change my spark plugs only to realize that Tampa Honda used an impact gun to zip them on. In the process they cracked one of the ceramics which took me about 4 hours to remove all the pieces and not drop any in the cylinder. I called a different dealership to brainstorm how to fix the problem and he informed me that he had seen a bunch of hondas in the area with cracked plugs and assumed that a dealership is using an impact gun to secure them. This is without me mentioning my thoughts on what happened. (See post on SI forum)"

Also when I was paying for the injectors that were out of warranty, a scummy sales person had the nerve to come up and say "why dont you just trade it in for the Type R and you wont have this issues." The Type R is priced at 57k with a 20k market adjustment. I politely informed him that I would never purchase anything from them ever again. I haven't been back since.

A good friend works at a local dealer. I asked him to find me a 2020 Si sedan in modern steel. We agreed to a great price and waited for it to come in. Friend was on vacation the day I went to pick up the car but he had talked to another associate and bought him up to speed to complete the transaction. I wasn't purchasing any dealer accessories or financing; I give them a check, they give me the car. I sit down to sign some paperwork and the new associate quotes me a price $2500 or so more than what I had agreed to pay. I laughed and said "no" he left and made a call, came back and apologized.

I understand the mixup if the dealership was moving multiple Si sedans a day but I think they were only getting one every 1 or 2 weeks. It was annoying and slightly funny but not inconvenient.

Are you near the Columbus area, by chance? If so, would you recommend your friend's dealer for doing routine maintenance?

Where are you in California? Here in NorCal the vehicles are few and far between and I was getting similar OTD quotes from everyone. I'm almost embarrassed to say I paid 29.5K.

Every dealer I spoke to that had one on the lot, and the ones that didn't said there is a scarcity factor as cars aren't being delivered.

Aside from probably paying too much, I'm in love with my 2020.

It's true that cars aren't being delivered. Honda shut down all North American production on March 23. They've extended the shutdowns multiple times since then. They're currently scheduled to restart on May 11 - that's over 7 weeks of zero Honda production. Unprecedented. On the other side of that equation, very few people are buying automobiles right now and even with deep discounts and low interest, it's a very risky purchase to make.

I paid $24900 for my 2020 Si Sedan. I bought it in Feb right before the Covid-19 outbreak.

I was able to negotiate my 2019 si with tax, titles, and fees for $22,900. I bought mine from Brahman Honda in south Florida near lake worth area. They were a tad pushy when I told them I wanted to leave and make a few phone calls before pulling the trigger (but understandably so, as the manager mentioned people will take prices like that and try and shop around other dealers), but overall mine was a good experience. He tried to pin a relatively high interest rate on me (my credit score at the time was like 730) and i basically laughed when he tried to give me close to 5% interest. Then he dropped it down 3.69 after I told him I’d been quoted between 3.4 and 4.2. And salesman owned a 2018 si and stayed with me 45 minutes after they had already closed to show me all the necessary things with the car. A solid experience for my first time financing a car.
Side note* don’t make the same mistake I did and get the extended warranty if you plan on modding out the car. I got mine before I planned on modding anything and as soon as I did i quickly cancelled it. Plus I read the extended warranties are kind of useless anyway and a rip off to the customer (especially with Honda engines since these bad boys tend to last forever if you take cafe of it)

I paid $25,928.17 for a 2019 Honda Civic Si
Got it sticker price & all fees included.
This is what you can get it for in California. Of course anyone else might get a better price if you're in another state. If you're planning to buy one then I would wait right around the end of July. They'll want to get rid of all their leftovers by the end of the year. Even the finance manager told me it's all about timing.

Anyone have a great experience to report with a dealer in Washington? Specifically near Tacoma area... I'm traveling up there at the end of July and hoping to drive a new car back.

I'm in Southern California and with current low inventory, these cars are selling at MSRP at minimum and most end up being $29k+ OTD.

I test drove a "new" 2020 Si Sedan this past weekend at Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina. Car had 2000 miles, 18" scrape from the passenger rear door, quarter panel, to the rear bumper. It also had a dead battery, paint in generally bad condition given the "new" status they claimed, and it was clearly a repo.

I was shown the car by a sales lady who's probably at the top of the funnel then was transferred to the "sales manager" (seems everyone has that title) who wanted $26.5k + tax. I mentioned the poor condition of the car and upon him actually seeing it for himself, he countered with $24.5k. I offered $25k OTD and they had their closer come out to basically say they couldn't do better than $27.2k OTD.

After reading about what others have successfully paid for their cars here, I'm glad they did not accept my offer.

OK here it is .... have at it:thumbsup:
Please make sure to list the following.

1) Dealer and location.
2) Sales person.
3) Any email or data you can provide.
4) Price that they offered you that made you want to put them on "THE LIST"

Also great info as well of what and what not to say ;)
1. Priority Honda in Hampton VA
2.Tom Livingood
3.We only talked through phone calls.
4.The initial price that his manager gave me was $29k but he told me to just decline the offer and we would get a better deal. Manager claimed that since I was looking at a 2020 it had a premium. Tom told him to chill and got it down to $24k~ before taxes.
I would definitely recommend Tom if your interested and don't want the BS.

you should totally drive by their dealership in your new red sedan and see if they really did sell it :p honk twice and peel out with the sweet (mild) sound of the exhaust and turbo!
I had a dealer tell me i couldnt afford a new car without taking any info from me and told me if I wanted to order an Si I had to pay cash. When i took delivery (at a different location) i went straight over and told the girl she was out of her mind and im pretty sure she got fired cause i havent seen her when i go to do oil changes.

Gardena Honda has 2 white 2020 Si sedans incoming (ETA early to mid July) listed at $23,594. Unfortunately upon calling, this is just a false lead and they are not actually offering any discounts on them and they will not honor the advertised price.

I can't believe these things are being treated as if they're a special car.
