I heard k tuner voids warranty but if something goes wrong aren’t you able to flash tune it back to stock and the dealership won’t know it’s there and they’d fix your blown engine?
You can flash back, but it would be the rolling of the dice. If they suspect abnormal wear caused an issue, they may investigate further. I've heard both stories, they did a warranty repair on one car but not another

Dealers can tell how many times the car has been flashed. They'll keep a record of it for their own use down the line depending on if the car comes back in for a warranty repair. It's a somewhat risky and possibly expensive game to play. So as long as your not running crazy power and also beating the piss out the car you should be fine.

Says the guy with a muffler delete, k&n panel filter, skunk2 shift knob and BOV spacer? Yea, you’re right about one thing, those are a waste :rofl:
. This sounds like ... I have a three inch penis and I am angry LOL ... I did what works for me! I love the car. I enjoy it. There is no replacement for displacement. I will dust your K turned car with a 1985 Mustang GT.

I just found it very ironic...unfortunately for you, sounds like you're the angry 3 inch penis guy in this one. :dunno:

Haha, yeah, don't know about that. But it definitely (the Sienna) does have displacement! If it were only 1000 lbs lighter....

A couple things. You might be surprised how much quicker the 1.5 turbo cars accelerate with a tune. I've dusted plenty of cars with much more power. Displacement is great and all, but there's a whole lot to be said about lighter curb weight too.

Plus you mentioned earlier how it was a waste to tune these cars for more power. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tuning not only increases power but reduces lag, removes rev hang, can reduce wheelspin, spools the turbo faster, improves throttle response, removes the top speed limiter and many other tweaks that improve the car from stock.

Add to that the fact you can mostly maintain near stock mpgs and it's a win-win.

I have the si sedan, I have a PRL intake w race maf, prl catted downpipe, front pipe, MAPerformance race exhaust, tsp stage 1 tune (3RD LVL 24.5 PSI) for performance mods and my car drives like a beast and has not had any issues yet. I'm at 7k. Loving it. Wish the low end was faster however. Over 4000 rpms its a lot of fun.

Because of the weight of the car and fwd, power delivery to early and too fast will result in excessive wheel spin and torque steer, that's why these tunes are designed to deliver power in a more linear fashion. Even the CTR is a bit slow off the line and becomes a beast between 3k all the way to 7k where it's a monster. That's kind of the reason why a tuned Civic (Si and non Si) do well from a roll, but have a hard time 0 to 60 better than 6.3

My IS350 which has 306 HP and 277lbs ft torque is the same way...it's happiest between 3500 and 6000 RPM. But it's shorter gearing and rwd makes it a 5 second 0 to 60. Of course the cost is the 19.5 average MPG I get. Best highway mileage I've gotten is 27 MPG

Recent information has stated the design intention was a powertrain that could tolerate 300nm (at least the six speed manual trans was)

This falls just about in line with what most are seeing before various issues/ failures (actually less but 250 is seemingly our cars magic number of happiness). Also falls in line with Honda "reducing power to stay at 205hp for longevity".
