I’ll agree I’m not a big lowering fan although Florida doesn’t have many potholes but many parking lots have large speed bumps but come on you got to like the no fender look ( no fender on passenger side either)I prefer mine:
I like these 100 percent stock, when you lower it that low you not only put a lot of stress on the suspension and chassis, but you make the ride really hard, and you can't even go over a small bump without scraping the bottom. If I ever decided to modify, I would stick with F-Sport parts...which are expensive
I bet you he is changing out the fenders for Gen 3 fenders (this is a Gen 2), or maybe some EBay custom ones. There are a bunch of people on the ClubLexus forum that change out front grills, bumper covers and fenders for Gen 3 EBay parts. OEM, these parts are extremely expensive, you can get some Chinese knockoffs on EBay for more than half the price, of course they have to heavily modified before they fitI’ll agree I’m not a big lowering fan although Florida doesn’t have many potholes but many parking lots have large speed bumps but come on you got to like the no fender look ( no fender on passenger side either)

EDIT
In fact I can see he already changed the bumper cover, that is not a stock Gen 2 IS bumper cover (he possibly added a lip he bought on Ebay)
For sure they are here in Northern Cal. A lot of drivers here are Tesla and other electric/hybrid owers, and most gasoline driven cars here are automatics or DCT's. Most MT drivers here drive Subaru's, Toyota 86/BRZ and I see some Mustangs and Charger with manuals. I'm actually looking for a used Toyota Corolla/Matrix XRS with a 6 speed as a weekend car that I will give to my son when he turns 18Manual drivers are a dying breed, especially where I’m at. Makes sense with LA traffic though.
