Hey ya'll, I wanted to see if anyone else has needed to have their fuel pump replaced? I picked up my brand new Si on Saturday, and during the drive home, my CEL came on saying there was an emission system problem. When I brought it back, the CEL had already turned itself off, but the stored DTC (I'll ask tomorrow about what the exact code was) indicated a fuel pump failure. They're replacing it under warranty, and wanted to keep it overnight while they waited for the part to arrive, out of concern that it could cut out entirely on me and leave me stranded somewhere. Any desire I had to tune my car before the warranty period expires is definitely gone now, and I'm a little disappointed that my brand new car is already having issues, whereas my 8th gen Si and S2000 were both extremely reliable.
I should also add that I'm a mechanic myself, and I know that part suppliers aren't always 100% reliable. But in my experience a part going bad this early on isn't usually an isolated incident.
