Is it worth tuning the 2.0 engine? What numbers does it put out? I can't seem to find a solid answer so any help is appreciated.

I got my 2.0 tuned not for the numbers but because the car was running like crap with all the mods. I have an AEM intake., rv6 high-flow cat and Magnaflow exhaust. Even with the out of the box ktuner tune for it, the car was running rich as hell. The 150 bucks I spent to have the car etuned by dan @ etunez was worth every penny to me. Now when I get on the gas the car doesn't randomly cut out like before. The car sounds healthier and feels more responsive to drive custom tuned.

Would the etunez do much for me if I'm stock? Still better than ktuner?

What bolt ons would you recommend for the 2.0 6mt?
AEM intake, rv6 high-flow cat or catless depending on whether you like fumes and a Magnaflow exhaust or equivalent. Pair all that with a custom tune from an e-tune or a dyno session and you are golden.

How much power do you put down with these mods plus tune? Thanks for answering all these questions, I appreciate it!

I don't know since the car has never been on the dyno as it was e-tuned. It feels about 30% more responsive than the OEM tune. Custom tune helped mostly with fixing the maf curve across the rpm range which was a bit challenging because I can't hold the CVT in its ratios. Before the tune, the car was running rich and would fall flat on its face from too much fuel. You will feel more power than I do obviously because the manual is a stronger transmission and more predictable across the rpm range. I've attached the feedback notes from the tuner when I got my car tuned.

That dyno test was on a 6MT, not a CVT.

I recommend getting the ktuner first. The reason I say this is because it lowers Vtec engagement and smooths out that power dip in the high end. This alone makes a big difference in the feel of the car. Plus of course you get the bump in power across the power band. Also improved throttle response. This mod alone might be enough for you, if not then at least you got your tuner so your ready to keep going.

All I have is the ktuner tune and a K&N filter. It’s been a blast. Definitely worth it if you can pick one up used (and make sure it’s unmarried). I’m getting a catless downpipe this weekend so I’ll give an update when I install it. This is probably as much as I’ll put on my car performance wise.

Ktuner + aem intake i installed ktuner first and it's definitely made the civic more zippy around town.
AEM intake i didn't notice any diffrence, just gives a nice growl which makes it fun to drive.
