VSS wire for 2016+ Civic LX?

Does anyone know where to tap the VSS wire for the 10gen Civics? It is relevant to head unit replacements. I cannot find any info on the web.

For Civics without the navigation units, it is not on the connector to the head unit. I'm interested in finding it for a 2017 LX manual transmission, but I'd think it is relevant to other trims too.

On an integrated circuit, Vss is another name for ground, and Vdd is another name for power. So perhaps you are supposed to ground that wire.

VSS stands for "Vehicle Speed Sensor". I think Honda calls it the VSP wire (for Vehicle Speed Pulse).

The VSS will send a pulse signal based on the driveshaft's revolutions. It is not the same as in the ICs.

Not easy to find. The service manual is available now online. There is a link on the front page of the website. If I were you I would look there in the electronics section of the manual. Unless someone has proof what wire it is there is too much risk guessing.
