Sadly, you should've stopped there because this car will not even sell close to MSRP like folks said above. And seeing that you're on the islands, it might not even go lower than 50k. Lastly, if it really doesn't come with A/C, you'd be sweating buckets cruising in HI lol. Buy a used '17 and wrap it yellow then call it a day.
Only the EU spec isn't coming with A/C and infotainment, afaik.

Look for "Honda Pro Jason" in the classified section. If you don't care about the limited edition thing, he has a used Phoenix Yellow that he might be looking to get rid of to buy the Limited Edition model. Surely, he would accept $40K and at that price he might even deliver it himself to Hawaii by paddling across the Pacific. :) Good luck with your search!!

Agree. This car will not sell for any less than 10k above MSRP. If someone shows paperwork of the purchase at MSRP, I already know there is another part of the story where the mark up came from - their trade in, where they took $10k less of fair trade in value to get the car at MSRP on paper.

Obviously just my prediction, but based on 3 years of continuous mark up on regular CTRs, I can't imagine a single soul getting a LTD yellow CTR at MSRP
Eh...my dealership doesn't sell any new car over MSRP. So, someone is going to get one for MSRP. I should have contacted them sooner though because they already have a waiting list and I doubt they'll get more than 1.

If you think the CTR LE will sell for MSRP, you're delusional. That car will at MINIMUM go for $75K. It's for hardcore collectors and those with serious Honda connections. You're better off getting a current CTR for MSRP and wrapping it bro.

The dealer hasn't had a chance to sell a car with as much hype, following and limited production. That will be great for someone who got on that list if you're right, but if I had to bet, I'd say no way the car sells for MSRP even from "nice list" dealers

There was a google doc with a list of dealers back when the car first released lol. It definitely helped a lot of us CA folks on who to call or who to avoid and such.

Emm. Being the OP of the naughty dealer list I can tell ya you're not gonna get one .....

Even if the autogroup doesn't allow dealers sells over msrp. Their used car dept will buy the car, sell it as used. You guessed there is no limit for used car dept.

Even the regular MY20 msrp is over 37. With tax and fees you are over 40 already....

One last pile on:

The Type R has perceived limited availability. They don't make very many, but they're literally numbered so you can absolutely see production. From that production, we can infer that there are more CTRs than 2.0L 6MT Accords. Production is not terribly limited.

Just something to note I saw in Massachusetts last November when I bought my CTR. The dealership I bought mine from had 4 CTRs in stock just at that dealership alone. There were only (2) 2.0L 6MT Accords in the whole state and they were both red. I was looking for a white one. Glad they didn’t have one so I got the white CTR.

Absolutely, and yet you never hear of dramatics around 2.0 6MTs because they aren't flashy and don't have sequentially numbered plaques, even though they're rarer.
Rare doesn't equal special.
I bet dealerships don't deal with a lot of 20 year olds trying to test drive 2.0 6MT accords just for the fun of it...

Now, if they made an Accord Type R....
