I bought one after I found out it was counter weighted.Dealer just called me... my 2020 shift knob is in already. I'll see how I like it.

If itās a Honda part then you might be able to buy it from GB online and pay the huge shipping costs, if customs letās them in. Iād be patient as somebody that sells here will make something similar as youāre not alone.
The lighter R LE is limited edition that might Leave Everyone behind.
I bet Honda Pro Jason is proud itās yellow.

I didn't even have the part number on me when I contacted a buddy of mine about the shift knob. Got it ordered, but I'll have to wait until next week to get it. From @TypeSiR's post earlier, the part number should be 54102-TGH-G00.

I replied to your DM, but for anyone reading and wanting to purchase the 2020 shift knob - you'll want to already have a short shifter or customizable shifter assembly like Acuity, Hybrid Racing, etc. to shorten the throw on this higher knob.

Edit: note I could be mistaken since I don't have it in hand yet. Once I get it we'll see. How much higher is it compared to the Honda Accessory knob?

looks like the updated knob sits about the same height as the red leather one. thats prob why they shorten the throws on the 2020 model to compensate the new height

the new locking nut would also make it sit lower too. If you look at the pictures, you canāt see that little black collar from the locking nut that normally came on the Type R. A silver (or red) rim always is up against it.

That's true. Then I started thinking this weekend...if I did get rid of the screen then I'd have no way to change any vehicle settings. Everything is on there. lol

Really? I was excited to try out the 2020 knob but it sounds like it's going to be too expensive to bother lol.If you change the nut to the 2020, you also have to change the boot collar. The nut is list price or MSRP $65 I believe, so yeahhh....
