It fell by the turbo and disappeared. I tried reaching everywhere even with a magnet. I'm hoping if I could just get the damned pipe off It may be tucked somewhere in there.

Unless it fell in front of the radiator, you should be able to reach it just by taking off the aluminum splash pan and reaching around. But that'll require jacking the car.

If it fell in front of the radiator you might be able to snake one of those magnetic things through the holes in the front bumper. Things usually end up right under the IC.

Taking off the front doesn't require a jack, but obviously requires time and spooky popping of clips.

Luckily for me I was installing the charge pipes anyways.

Is this supposed to be enough room to fit a socket and extension?

Facing the bottom of your car (as your picture is oriented), you need to place a small ratchet below that big rubber hose (by where that sensor plug is hanging in the pic) and then use an appropriately sized extension bar to reach the bolt. I think that I used two small ones stacked, but I can't recall.

The tough part was threading it past the rubber hose. It's doable though, once the hose has been unclipped.

Using your brain. Not throwing your hands up and relying on the internet.
Internet is a resource

Using the internet to get help/research before performing a task they haven't done before instead of blindly working on something is using your brain lol.

I'll try to take a picture later if it's possible without taking off those bolts for the harness. But you have to do some under n' over type shit. You'll be able to go straight at it, though - no funky angles.

Well it's done. Thanks to everyone that offered insight. Even the sarcastic ones.;)

Btw I've installed every mod on every car I've owned for the past 20 years. Some go smooth, some don't. If they all went smooth no one would be breaking studs installing down pipes. I had PRL's instructions which could have had a little more detail imo. None of the YouTube videos show much either. Most skip the details and just show the end result.

sorry to be late to the party but I tried detailing that step in a separate install guide...

Mainly posting here if anyone else has your same issue. Step 3.4.
