Like it or hate it, this car gets people feeling something when they see it. All the brodozers wanna smoke that POS honda at the stop light. Let them hate and put 80$ of fuel in their vehicle when they fill up, while you could literally almost cross the country with the same amount of fuel.

Love it

Call me old fashioned but I rather enjoy stoplight races. The Civic is no racecar or muscle car but does quite well with Ktuners assistance. I'd rather a quick burst of power then proving myself at triple digit speeds although that has happened occasionally. Just ask the SRT 10.

I don't race off the line at a stop light per say but I'll admit I love zooming by some dickhead who guns it off the line. I wait 'til they think they're way ahead and catch up and scoot by them. If I'm wrong to do that, say what you will, but it puts a smile on my face. Thank you JR and Derek. ;) This is all done "off road" of course.

People try to race me basically every time I drive. I guess they just think ANGRY GREEN CAR = RACE

Angry green car + gold/bronze wheels = I wanna race. It's on page 75 of the racer's handbook.

This is actually the thing I like the least about my CTR... Stop light "racers."
Just yesterday I had my wife in the car and a beaten up Acura from the mid 90's pulled up next to me with 3 dorky looking high school kids (assumption). The driver started revving his engine, with his obnoxious exhaust popping and sounding like trash. I just looked at them and started laughing. The light turned green and he took off quickly (relative to his garbage ride) and proceeded to try to squeeze between two other cars in the lane to his left (3 lane road). Luckily the rear car slammed on his brakes to avoid an accident, and the idiot in the Acura barely squeezed between that car and the one in front of it ... only to stop 100 yards later at the next intersection.
My wife just looked at me and said, "this is why I don't drive your car."

I mean the guy couldn't have seriously thought he had a chance -- or maybe he did?

I drive from just south of Chicago to Fort Worth, TX. Its 958 miles. I leave with the tank full, fillup in Sikeston, Mo., and Texarkana, Tx. When i get to Ft. Worth, i still have just over half a tank left. Rough est. of around $55 in gas used, not too shabby.

You drive an LX dude, great car for what it is, but it is an 8-ish seconds 0-60 car with 158 Horsepower, you're not exactly winning any drag races outside of maybe Toyota Corrollas and Hyundai Elantras.

Yeah... but I never cross the country without luggage and STUFF. When I go on vacation in a big minivan or SUV I don't even need to deflate my beach toys or fold my chairs....and I can pack a cooler the size of a bathtub... Love it! Can your civic coupe do that?:D
I would need to use a computer to fit my stuff in a civic....:coffee:

Almost every pickup truck driver ( want to be a red neck old and young) want to race me at a light most of the time I don’t bother but when I do they realize that their pickup truck ( Christmas tree hauler because that’s all they use it for) and SUVs( shopping cart) are slow and doesn’t handle well and really pissed when the gas gage move along with the speedometer :)

I grew up with an Odyssey in the family for all of our family road trips. My mom uses it like a truck. It is unreal how much you can fit in an Odyssey with the third row folded down and the middle row seats taken out.

I’ve never needed to rent a box truck to move. 2-3 trips with the Odyssey and it’s done.

When I was a kid my mother had a station wagon 1972 Chevy kings wood with a 400 small block and 9 passenger it was great for the drive in movies long trips and with the seats folded down you could put a 4x8 sheet of plywood with no problem mini vans and SUV today would have a problem with that unless you use the roof rack. Station wagon was the most practical car out there
