the IAT2 is at the MAF. The car uses intake temps for that table. That's why a good intake is a necessity.
Oh wow, I thought for sure it would be after intercooler. Updated, thank you for the info. I guess that makes more sense.

Question; I am completely full bolt on, with PRL turbo inlet pipe, PRL HVI, PRL intercooler, PRL charge piping, RV6 catted DP, and a Remus FP & Exhaust. On the basemap list, I see several different options that mentions 93 octane, intercooler, and downpipe. Many don't seem to specify whether they're for catted or catless DP's, and the only option that does doesn't mention anything about intercooler or intake. I definitely don't want to burn out my cat - any recommendations?

I am getting custom tuned in the spring, so this would just be for then next couple of months. Should I run the PRL DP & IC map?

you can always open 2 instances of flashpro manager and compare each tabs on the calibration if you really want to see it.

downpipe usually means cat less.
a high flow cat usually means a catted downpipe.

your not going to burn out your cat. I haven't compared the two but the downpipe tune probably has a little bit more ign advance than a high flow tune. As long as your not getting knock retard, i don't see a problem.

The intakes that are out currently won't really change your tune so intake not being listed isn't a big deal.

I've read that a few degrees knock retard is OK on our ECU every once in a while because its so sensitive. Opinion?

I've been running the PRL icdp 93 map with the street downpipe plus my own further slight increases to air charge and timing, hard, for over a year. Hell, I even hit the antilag once in a while. No issues, but ymmv.

That was one of my original questions when comparing these maps: there isn't a high flow cat variant for most combinations. Still hasn't been answered, but its assumed catless.

Thanks. I'll hopefully be getting custom tuned soon anyway, but for now I'm feeling paranoid. On my 17 SI, a new engine was chump change compared to these insanely expensive blocks on the R.

IMO, It all depends on the when it's occurring and in if it's showing in all the cylinders or not. Your temps at the time can have an effect on it also.

you can always datalog and analyze.
I know I'm oversimplifying, but I've seen Hondata mention to mainly monitor fuel pump, knock, and lamba. What's the drop down name for lambda on the graph menu, and what should its values be?

look at AF and AFCMD.

Mainly looking at pump duty and KR should be fine if your just on a base map.

might i ask why its recommended to keep an eye on these?
well, knock retard 1-4 to make sure your not running too much ignition advance and pump duty to make sure your not capping out the fuel pump.

afr to make sure your not running rich or lean. I don't really wanna say what the afr values should be cause people believe differently with afr regarding direct injection engines.

The air-fuel mixture is kind of important to make sure you're not running rich or lean?
well im aware to keep an eye on afr but i mean pump duty and not sure what KR means. kind of new to a lot of this but i understand afr.
