i see many S2000 CRs being driven at the track and theres only a handful of them.

but your right. Most would probably just not drive it that often.

Rare yes but not a Ferrari or similar. It will hardly bring anything over the insane ADMs. Provided it's kept pristine and very low mileage.
You're better off keeping the money and loosing 40 pounds- getting fit and in shape.
Also this improved damper control that reads ten times faster. There are other limitations- in the system's reaction loop. Processing, Can bus, damper response. I bet in practice the difference won't be colossal. Minor improvements, not a different car.

Correct, it's Europe only. Honda said the buyers of the CTR in North America tend to be younger and appreciate the looks more with the big wang (wouldn't know it from half of the comments you read online about it!)

They have been testing this car for months on the 'ring so I have no dount they've tweaked it until they eventually beat the time and we will hear nearer launch date. It's still 47 kg heavier than the megane with a bit more power so should be very interesting...

What I cant understand is they've ditched the air con and the infotainment, so this ain't a daily, so why not ditch the back seats and save some more...

They might have found they needed to ditch the aircon and infotainment to get the 'ring record back and that they are easier delete options than the rear seats. They probably figure most buyers won't want to delete any of it.

Yeah, they'll most likely use the hardcore EU version which is 104 lb (47 kg) lighter than the US version (3117 lb) to beat the Megane.

$42k isnt that baaaaad.....but the ADM will suck.

the dealership that I bought my new 19 sgp from for $34,600 just told me as soon as they can secure the vin that I could have theirs w/ $3k deposit and $5k over MSRP. Currently I'm first in line.

Sigh, if that Sport Type R would have come to North America (Canada specifically) that would have been right at the top of my list, especially if it came in Boost Blue. Looks sharp.

Not that the GT Type R doesn't, but I'm still not 100% sold on that wing spoiler. It's growing on me the more I look at it but having the Sport Model with 19 inch wheels would have been perfect.

Spoke with my dealer today and he said the price on the limited here in Canada is going to be $45k. That’s Canadian. I can see the $42k USD bring the price for the folks in the states. Going to get some pricing on what the difference would be if I traded in my 2018 tomorrow.

The s209 is way more limited and bespoke and dealers still can't move them at msrp
