Nice that they’re forged but that is not going to stop them from getting bent. And seeing how these are even more exclusive... be ready to shell out. Otherwise your paying very high prices (markup for sure) for “custom shocks”, and tweaked steering, and the yellow. Personally I’m very happy with mine.

Nonetheless this final edition will be a classic.

Here’s to hoping each one gets driven like it’s supposed to.

o_O Only 100 LE allocated for the entire Europe. But they do get the the Sport Line R. I hope the US gets it too.

I hope we don't so we're forced to ride around with our massive wings :stirthepot:

It's 20" forged wearing 245/30/20 Cup tires. Still lighter and better than the old ones. Can't win them all.

Wow, I really like the sport line version. The black interior and the 19" wheels would be great.
I'm going to want some of those black seats!!!:spaz:

This CTR will be at least $65K+ for sure and unfortunately I will have to add Limited Edition to my collection with the CW. Time to sell some organs lol

(Lol I’m a bit annoyed) Can’t say I’m surprised, but in all real ness this current type R is the last car I’ll ever buy new. Ive gotten a tad bit wiser since owning this car and wish I would have invested this cash instead. (Which I’ve already done) I think the car industry (Honda) shitted on lots of people and withheld key pieces of info to sell as many Rs as possible while marking them up to see what people will pay for it knowing the whole time they would continue to make the cars. I highly doubt this will be a final/ limited edition and If it is it will only be specific to this particular year. I’m sure they’ll lie about it and release another model the following year. Am I sour?...yes, do I still love my type R? Of course. Is the track edition Type R fire? Yep, wish I could buy it, but it’s gonna be hard for me to convince the wife I wanna buy this be because it’s limited edition.

Wow! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Wheels are still 20"? 18 lb total unsprung weight reduction = 4.5 lb per courner. 29 lb (old factory wheel) - 4.5 lb = 24.5 lb. (new forged wheel). There's plenty of room for improvement here.

Where to find one for MSRP is the only problem. So this is the $40k one.

Pfft.......my wheels are still another 4.45 lbs lighter! Doesn't seem like much of an improvement.....though I guess mine aren't forged. :dunno:

A 'track' edition still running on the undersized (width) oversized (diameter) tires...

And no power boost from the TCR cars either.

Disappointing, especially if there is a large price premium.

Even with Cup2's & max camber, this car understeers and eats front tires when driven at instructor pace on a roadcourse. 18" wider wheels were a no-brainer.

2021 will likely see the C8 Z06, so I may unload my 2018 Z06 Z07 & Type-R based upon what Chevrolet releases.
