I recently picked up a 2020 Civic LX Sedan, and have 2300 km on it so far (roughly 1430 miles).

I'm see on the Honda specifications page the gas mileage should be:

(City/Hwy/Combined)
7.9/6.1/7.1 L/100 km -or-
29.8/38.6/33.6 MPG

I'm currently sitting at 9.5 L/100 km (24.7 MPG). I'm not an aggressive driver, and even been more concerned as I'm told the first 600 miles or so is the engine break in period.

Should I be concerned?

You're in Manitoba, Canada and very cold weather can easily knock off 5+ mpg due to the longer warm up time. If you use a winter gas blend up there, that also reduces mpgs. More city than highway... again lower mpgs.

Lower tire pressure (cold weather does that) will reduce mileage too, so check your tires and pump them up to spec. Check them when your car has been sitting overnight.

No concern, cold weather really drags down the fuel economy. Short trips and city driving don't help, either.

I have the 1.5T, but live in the Northeast and run snow tires. This winter I've been averaging 35 to 37 MPG. During the warmer months, I average 42 to 46 MPG.
