I have seen this already. What does it prove?
It proves that the changes they listed on the official press release is true, and your statement of "I expect the interior to be exactly the same" is objectively false.

I am not saying that the rotors will not operate in cold weather.

Please reread what I wrote and hopefully you can comprehend what I am trying to say. Temperature either hot or cold will and can affect rotors. Rotors can warp or crack due to heat. My statement is that they can put a disclaimer for rotors in regards to temperature operation if there is a need for one, similar to the one that they did for tires for cold weather.
What are you even talking about? It's like no one in this forum can read or comprehend my posts. I promise, I'm not speaking in a foreign language.

Friction surface of both the new, 2-piece rotors and the old, single piece rotors is cast iron. Outside air temperature does not affect cast iron in any significant way to require any sort of warning, otherwise every single car with cast iron brake rotors (which is 99.9% of them) would have a temperature warning. Which they don't. And never will.

Just my opinion on the hidden interior thing, but I think they are just waiting for product management to sign off on what will and what won’t be included in the American version. Until then there is a potential for them to change their mind.

I personally hope they drop the fake engine sound thing for the US. That is against everything in the Type R ethos.

Updated first post with a clear pic of knob. I think I see a red ring under the knob.

What are you taking about?
1) The picture doesn't prove anything because no one here knows if that is an actual production 2020 or not.
2) I said I expect the interior to be the same. The picture you posted up appears to be the same. How does that make me wrong?

The picture I posted clearly has the new alcantara steering wheel and different shift knob?

Here's a better picture for you.

And everything else, including the seats, appears to be exactly the same. Which is what I said I expected to be the case. Still not sure what the point of all this is. You keep putting up pics as if they are going to be "Gotcha" moments, but they support the validity of my expectations. Am I missing something here?

PS: Not sure where this pictures comes from, but for now we will assume it is an official US Honda photo and shows the actual 2020 interior.

BTW: No, I am not blind.........

Lmao. They said nothing to that effect....

I don’t know what it is but this forum has an issue with people making shit up and saying “Honda said”.

The official press release literally says updated grill yet there’s these comments that the intercooler might be larger or piping has changed. Maybe my mind is fucked but how does an updated grill turn to pipe dreams of powertrain upgrades?

Its as if people are dreaming so hard they lie in order to project something that’s untrue.

Really sad.
and I take from that there are additional details that we don’t know. I also listened to their entire press conference and although it’s pretty typical marketing speak, the fact that they stated up on stage “improved engine cooling” as a headline feature makes me hope that the engineers were actually allowed to make a real improvement and not just enlarge the grille. I’m also basing this on my past observation with how Honda is willing to do real engineering changes during mid-cycle updates.

Anyway, I am just saying we should reserve final judgement until we get someone doing the inevitable youtube tear down.
So now that the press release has announced the details on the improved radiator core, I'm feeling pretty vindicated.

Missed half of this but who cares about half this crap going back and forth over changes? Tweak here, tweak there, might cause a need for a tweak elsewhere.

The front end was closed off at the bottom for the Honda Sense package. They enlarged crap to make up for it (lack of air). My opinion, but ntl, who here still has a stock car and is concerned about any of it?

Every single aftermarket bolt-on will change everything the OEM setup was designed around. Air flow, cooling, power, exhaust, etc.

Get over it. Keeping the car stock? Then compare them. Otherwise, enjoy your car.

Got an order with my local honda dealer going for the wheel, debating on the knob as well. Wonder how long they will be before they arrive.

Can't wait to learn about the changes to the knuckles, control arms, and bushings. I'm assuming that the bushings are getting stiffer, but what could be changing with the LCA's. Aren't they just essentially solid metal pieces?

Not sure what could be changing with the LCAs, but they could change the design of them. Honda also said the camber was also changed slightly as well if memory serves; we're not certain how and where that was done (in terms of the suspension components). But the stiffer and additional grip, as well as more comfortable comfort mode, may come from the active damper system that can adjust 10x more than the previous year models as well.
