Sup guys, hope everyone's having a good 2020 so far. Saw a "yo check my build" thread and was inspired to make one of my own. Also considering i haven't done one yet, figured why not. So hey everyone, check my build!

My 2017 Si sedan is my daily driven, track and twisty killin, favorite toy and happy place, MONEY pit! :headbang:
One day i may come to regret my decision for spending as much money on this car as i have, but considering my planned 2020 mod list, that day doesn't seem to be close.

I've currently got about 45k on the odometer and plan on keeping her as long as possible. The car is just too damn fun to drive while still being extremely practical and efficient.

My initial intentions with the car were focused on power. I wanted to make the car fast(er), so I went the power mod route pretty early but have actually kept it relatively conservative at only about 24 lbs of boost. I'm now satisfied with the power level, roughy 320 whp/wtq on e35-40, and so these days i've come to prioritize handling, which is certainly where this car shines. This past winter she saw the most track time yet, and the list of cars we outpaced is very surprising (bearing in mind driver mod plays a huge part). Mustang GTs, Camaros, STI's, Fiesta/Focus ST's, an Alfa romeo, even a Cayman (clearly needed a driver mod) -- but even so. End horn tooting, here's what she's got:

Ktuner V2 with custom dyno tune, shout out to Derek at IMW!
PRL downpipe (catted) and frontpipe
PRL intercooler
PRL cobra intake (race maf)
PRL turbo kit (GTX2860r Gen2)

SPC adjustable rear camber arms
two identical sets of 17x9 Enkei RPF1's (for summer and winter track events)
Nitto Invo 245/40 (summer)
Michellin Pilot Sport AS3+ 245/40 (winter)
Stoptech front rotors
Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pads front and rear
Acuity shifter and transmission linkage bushings

Nice build!

Do you have a stationary front quarter profile of the car on RPF1s? These pics are hard to come by in the wild. Not many people seem to wear these outstanding track wheels on the CivicX.

Nice build! What’s your camber and toe settings for your car if you don’t mind me asking.

Currently within stock alignment ranges, and feeling the need for a little more camber in the rear. Just wish the camber arms i have were easier to adjust. Would be nice if someone made quick adjust rear camber arms.

Also, your build post was the one that inspired me to do mine.

Very nice!
Couple of questions. I am on stock power, and pretty much cooked my Hawk 5.0 front pads and warped my rotors at VIR. I just picked up G-LOC R12 from another member on here, and ordered cryo treated stop tech rotors for the front. Hoping this set up will do better. My question is, how are you not cooking the pads? Maybe the rotors make a difference?
I upgraded to the Type R rear sway bar, which cut down on understeer, but still would like more camber up front. Did the coilovers help with understeer? Do you have stock sway bars?

I’m currently around stock alignment ranges myself. I’m currently running -1 front and -2 rear for camber. It has some mild understeer currently but I don’t mind since I feel like if I get to much rotation I may lose it in the canyon and go off a cliff lol.

hahah i feel that last sentence!
Got my car aligned after installing rear camber arms and spc lower ball joints... boy did that make a huge difference. And I thought the rear bar was a big difference lol
Front: Rear:
Camber: -2.0 Camber: -1.25
Toe: 0.00 Toe: 0.2

My previous setup was roughly -2.5 in the rear and -1.0 up front. The understeer really felt like my rear was just being dragged out of the corner but i didnt realize how much it was until the new alignment. Now Its definitely more willing to rotate and the turn in is amazing, but the rotation is very manageable. I'd highly recommend getting your rear at least to Stock CTR spec... which is -1.0 of camber all around i believe. I used these sites to help guide my current alignment spec decision:thumbsup:

Thanks for the info and I’ll prolly bring up the rear camber -1.5 I haven’t got the spc front camber kit yet, when I do I’ll prolly go -1.5 all around.
