Perhaps this been mentioned earlier but for a $35K car, the on the cloth material on back of the rear seats is, without a doubt the cheapest ever made...Honda probably found it in the bottom of some basement in Manila! I couldn't take it anymore, impossible to clean, magnet for dog hairs...replaced it for $550...well worth it!

Whistling sound that starts at acceleration from a stop. Only happens when HVAC fan is on (AC on or off doesnt make any difference). Sound goes away after reaching 30 MPH.

MINOR: Why the Sport Hatch is the only trim without a sunroof option?!? Why?

Beyond that I really do like it! Looks great. Smooth & peppy enough for a daily driver.
Not true. The other civic hatchback that doesn't have moonroof as an option is the Type R.
This should make you proud of your trim.

The HVAC fan is so weak, my old CRV HVAC was great but the civic is very much a step backwards

Used to be able to permanently turn off automatic braking/collision avoidance on my 2016 touring, now every single time I start my 2020 sport hatch I gotta turn it off.

My issue is that it’s 2019 about to be 2020 and we can’t just actively see what each tires pressure is? That’s rubbish. On top of that my tpms has gone off at least a dozen times and never once have they been under inflated. The system is awful
I had to replace my driver’s side, rear tire due to a drill bit that punctured it. The dealer replaced the tire with no issues, and I had no faults codes when I drove home. Like you, my TPMS kept warning me on every drive despite correct tire pressures, and calibration cycles. After about 2 weeks, I reasoned that these errors had to be due to some underlying issue. The service department at the Honda dealership did some diagnostics and found some “hard codes” and reflashed the system. Since then, I have had zero warnings from the TPMS, regardless of the seasonal temperature changes in the northeast thus far. Hopefully you can get yours checked and fixed for free for the same issue.

I wish there was an indicator light or a notification when you're running low on windshield wiper fluid.
Mine has one at least. Perhaps different between equipment levels?

One thing I really hate is, that the park sensor warning beeps are not go quieter or mute after a while.
This would be very helpful in my everyday stop an go traffic or when maneuvering to narrow streets, and when I come to a full stop near another motorcycle, bicycle, parked car or whatever, it's beeping like crazy.

If I manually deactivate the noise, it won't turn back on automatically like 'brake hold' does.

The way the cabin fan seems to change tone and speed based on the cars rpms. I only notice it when the radio is low, but man does it bother me.

Cold starts. For a brand new car, it sounds like it’s going to come apart. Rattles and ticks unlike any car I’ve ever owned.

I have to use a prop every time I open the hood. To understand how much I don't like it, imagine if you had to do that with you car's hatch. You would unlock the hatch, lift up, undo one end of the hatch prop rod from its anti rattle clips, stick it into a hole in the hatch... and you just know that there's a better way.
I fitted a couple of "Hood Gas Charged Lift Supports Shock Struts" soon after getting the car, and never regret that, each time I open the hood.
