All it needs is a good tune that keeps the torque below the limit. The HP can go as high as the sky allow it but the torque is the one that you need to watch out. Basic principle of modded turbocharged cars on a budget.

not true my buddy has the rampage big turbo upgrade and he's doing close to 500 on stock internal for over 1 year now with no issues
Over 380 and you're breaking the 3rd and 4th gears.

Not sure how much your buddy tracks but this is what I've seen happen. I'm sure even with street use, he's basically gambling every time he takes the car out.

This is on top of the fact that there is still a fuel deficiency issue.

I’m considering to work fueling first on the car, then the turbo. Sadly the fueling on the car struggles even with the stock turbo set up. Once that get done, I might get this Rampage kit.

Yeah. That might be the wise choice.

I actually ended up calling Rampage today and ordered their turbo upgrade a long with their inlet pipe. They're a few weeks out and I'm hoping Hondata will have their pumps soon.

Also I called Hondata today regarding the fuel system.

Not very helpful... basically told me that they were having manufacturing issues and to just keep an eye out on their social media account for updates.

Not sure who's running Hondata over there but I hope they can get their shit together. They were supposed to release this at the beginning of the year and it would have been nice to receive updates about this stuff.

I heard the same.. the engine is on borrowed time if i go over 380..
But reality is some ppl already planned to build motor so they dont mind anything happen to it..

not the engine but your transmission. People have broken 3rd and 4th gear at the track.
^THIS.

Over 400 and you're looking to build the engine.

TBH, i think that's pretty idiotic though. Car doesn't need that much hp to be quick on track. Also at those levels, you're spending ~ 20k to make it run. I'd probably be more inclined to put the money elsewhere.

I didnt even consider this so lets say I get the vehicle to the 500-600 club with the lightweight flywheel and twindisk clutch from clutch masters will the gears not hold the torque in the tranny?????

Once you get to 500-600 hp, the tranny will basically be glass. haha

There are a few transmission options out there already but they're not cheap. Just another issue to consider before upping the power.
